I know Samuels can be a bit unpredictable along with whatever other issues he has going on....BUT...the guy has a MAJOR/ match winning innings in a world cup final in his CV.

True he does but can we gamble on which Samuels will show up?
I saying yes take him, but he should know that he's not automatically in the XI.
That slot belongs to Lil B
In fact, I'll open with Samuels, cause it's best he comes in early and then you based the rest of the match off of what he does or doesn't do

So why take him if he wont be in the 11.

Samuels have played some of his best innings when totally at sea in previous innings.

Infact in his greatest T20 innings he was holding on by a thread...trying to break Mortons record before the other Samuels came to the party.

If you carry him he plays.

The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) is awaiting news on the results of tests on Sunil Narine’s bowling action before announcing their team. Narine was banned from bowling by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for an illegal bowling action. He is due to return to Loughborough University later this month to do tests on his action.

If he passes the test, he will be named on the team, as he has tremendous experience of the Indian conditions, having campaigned in the Indian Premier League (IPL) T20 since 2012.

I really have a problem with Narine getting a guarantee in de squad if he passes the test....Narine was found to be illegal for all his deliveries and if he pass this test, do we know how effective he will be? Something about dis Mamchan guy writing nah mek any sense....I know de selectors are not de brightest but at de very least write with some common sense nah...

Totally agree with you.
He shouldn't have a sure shot at walking back into the team. Who wrote the post a Tit?
Not wanting to start no coutry war, but their writers tend to push the Tits agenda hard.

I really hope it's not that easy. Cause if he get's called the first game. They might go for an immediate suspension. And if not and we are to beat any big team, just look for the big teams to call for that 2 week rule to get dropped from the clause.

Yu sound like a real cur. Why would Blackwood be on the T20i team??? That's like asking why Narine would be included on any team as a bowler.

Who cares? Is the same brain trust that select a lot of DOAs! Maybe WI not learning from the club teams.

We climbed to Numero Uno under the Clapper. What a leader eh?

No we climbed to number one after the PDs were let back into the team. Before that we were getting licks like nobody's business!!!!!

Don’t get you hopes up – Narine is a pitcher – once he tries to bowl, legally, he is useless - - he worse than Samuels – at least Marlon mixes it up – some legal – some not so legal

What if he turns out to be the best performer or one of the best performers??

the only thing consistent about Samuels is his inconsistency.
His time is up!

Tagwa1 Jan 26, 2016, 7:29:58 AM

Samuels has been the way he is..since he satrted and Waugh gave him that cursed rag.
But without him...we wouldnt have won the little we have.

So its kinda like Shiv..dropping him wont make us any better. But keeping him can make us a whole lot better if he has one of those worldly moments.

Its a no brainer as far as I see, but then no brainers is not one of our strengths.
