Revos need to start revving up....

A big gap between Guyana and Barbados at the top of the table, and the rest...it seems that they're the only countries seriously interested in playing Test cricket. That gap is reflected in the team of the tournament to date.

I've set the bar for batsmen at least 250 runs and an average of 40, and even though we've seen a slight improvement in the batting, there isn't much competition for the team. I've just picked the wicketkeeper who's performed the best with the bat. With the bowlers, I've set the mark at least 20 wickets, and a challenging average of less than 20, simply because our regional four-day competition has always seen bowlers dominate batsmen.

Have a look at Guyana batting average in last year PCL, only Shiv and Deo had an average in the forties.
