Congrats Guyana

Tough luck Barbados - that session against T&T where rain fell denied valuable points.

Big disparity between the top 2 and "the rest."

This season had some of the better batting performances for a long time. That was definitely refreshing to see.

Despite the miserable poor season, can't believe JA still placed 3rd. Jamaica After winning 5 consecutive regional tournaments is now languishing but I guess regional tournaments are cyclical and favours teams which are able to field the most number of their top players in most of their matches played during the season, as in the case of Guyana.

Years ago, Guyana had fallen on a lean period, seemed to be reversed now.

Windwards without Charles, Fletcher and Sammy didn't stand much of a chance.

While at it, please put in a good word for your Leewards brethren.

Yaad rebuilding nicely. Last year 4th, this year 3rd. So next year anything less than second will not be tolerated.
lol

Leewards is also in a building mode and was competitive in several matches, especially after Captain Bonner took over reigns and they do have some very promising batsmen, along with Kieron Powell.

These final points standings tell me that the only two countries still taking the longest format seriously are Guyana and Barbados....

You might have a point there, seeing that those two countries (West Indian, that is) are least represented on the world T20 circuit. Guyana is not even represented at the WC.

Barbados have the most strength in depth when you think McClean, Reifer & Edwards played for other territories.

Bim were without Benn, Nurse, Hope, Dowrich, Roach, CB ,KB, JH and Cummins for many games, I think that they are beginning to play OD and the 4D better. what is a concern is that all the batsmen are clones of each other, once Bim has batsmen for all occasions and types.
