The West Indies cricket team, with all their bling and bravado, are the very incarnation of the modern game. Stick them in whites, send them out to face a bunch of gimlet-eyed Aussies, and they will be lucky to extend a Test match to a third day. But give them maroon pyjamas, a white ball and a pumping soundtrack, and they will smack you into next week.
The surprising thing is that the West Indies’ Jekyll-and-Hyde performances over the past few months might just have saved Test cricket. They have provided a petrie-dish study of where the game will go, should sporting capitalism be allowed to run free. Thankfully, the laboratory staff – otherwise known as the International Cricket Council – are beginning to notice some toxic side-effects.

Well as I have already stated in this Forum :

The fact that the International Cricket Cabal , aka the ICC is now
nothing more than a Toothless Tiger
utterly devoid of any Power or ability to tell Governments not to intervene in Cricket .

The stark freaking audacity of India;
England & Australia , would be so greedy to hijack the majority of the
ICC earnings for themselves .

Worst yet , is the fact that 7 of the
ten ICC Members agreed to this callous Hijacking .

This is why I am of the opinion that the Regional Governments writing a letter to the International Cricket
Cabal , regarding the Brigands in the
Worst International Cricket Board in the Commonwealth , aka the WICBC is an exercise in futility .

Currently the Supreme Court in India
is verbally slapping around the BCCI et al ; and the ICC aint no where around , it has lost all its Authority to do anything .

My advice to the Regional Governments is not to write a letter to the Toothless Tiger , take the WICBC to Court .
