HEADLINE: TT Women crowned WICB Regional Super50 champs

TRINIDAD AND Tobago Women cricketers regained the West Indies Cricket Board Super50 title without a ball being bowled in their final encounter against dethroned champs Barbados at the Everest Cricket Club Ground, Guyana yesterday.
The umpires ruled that no play was possible because of the soggy outfield conditions. 
TT were ahead of Barbados in the overall round robin series and accordingly were declared champions using the rules and regulations that governs the Super50 competition.

This tournament seemed to be poorly marketed though as there wasn't much news about the fixtures.

The Windward Islands finished fifth on 10 points while the Leeward Islands ended in the cellar position on eight points.
