President of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Dave Cameron said that contrary to seemingly popular belief, his appreciation and admiration for present and past West Indies players runs deep.
Cameron made the declaration during an appearance on OBSERVER Radio’s Good Morning Jojo Sports Show earlier this week after he was asked about the relationship between himself and some senior players.
However, according to the Jamaican, his relationship or lack thereof with senior players should not affect the team’s performance on the pitch.
“The players don’t play for Dave Cameron; the players play for West Indies and for the region. My style is what it is and you don’t have to like your boss to work with him. Once you can respect each other’s position, then I think we could move forward,” he said.

Yep and the hastily deleted tweet about Gayle retiring was probably the pinnacle of that respect

The heart of the matter is that Cameron & Co , bluntly refuse to bring
the Worst International Cricket Board
in the Commonwealth , aka the WICBC
into the 21st Century .
THEY are propped up by those in the
Region who profess to be Sports Journalists , but are actually Sycophants of Cameron & Co.
Has anyone ever heard or read an article , by Becca et al stating emphatically that there needs to be
serious Structural changes in the
WICBC ???
The WICBC is Hell bent on bamboozling
the People in the Region by commissioning several Reports & then
ignoring the salient features of these Reports .
Frankly my perspective is that the Wehby Report is going to be treated
just as the others have been treated
by the MIMIC MEN in the WICBC .
