Mixing the bitter with the sweet can be very hilarious.

Never in my wildest dreams did I believe that I would be such a “champion” in writing about Dwayne Bravo in last week’s column.

So as a fellow Libran, I am inviting the chirpy Trinidad & Tobago and West Indies all-rounder to add a couple verses to his popular song with the words – Keith Holder a champion, Stephon Nicholas a champion, Trinidad & Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) a champion, along with all of those who either praised or blasted me on the various websites and social media.

In my opinion, Sports Editor Stephon Nicholas wrote the most interesting story in the Trinidad & Tobago Newsday on October 11, under the headline “Just Play Ball”.

I quote: “Over the weekend, the TTCB sent out an email under the heading “Big Bird Slams Bravo” which carried a link to a story published in Barbados TODAY entitled: ‘Time to move on from the Dwayne Bravos’.

“The article, written by Keith Holder, criticised Bravo for leading “a pull-out midway through the tour of India over player-payment issues” but fails to mention that the very Task Force commissioned by the WICB to investigate the circumstances surrounding the scandalous incident in October 2014 found the WICB and West Indies Players Association (WIPA) principally culpable for what transpired and not the players.

If this Holder character is in fact a "journalist" then the bar for journalism is indeed very low in Bim and in the region.

How sorry is this guy: His description of what constituted hss criticism of the WICB is laughable and insulting at the same time, I could not believe he held it up to show he is reasonable and balanced in his criticism.

Keith Holder should encourage the WICB to disband. Keith Holder ! That is your mission - Promote the dissolution of WICB . Should you Keith accept the Mission, it would propel you and secure your name in the historical annals of the Caribbean. Do it !!

Exactly, this is why I said he was insulting- he criticized the WICB for poor communication and a few other minor stuff, but he doesn't seem to want to understand, this narrative is helping the WICB by giving them legitimacy. The narrative is as you said, should be around disband, not some minor stuff.

Its like criticizing a thief for wearing dirty clothes while ignoring his crimes of stealing.

The above paragraph is an important point and highlights what WICB supporters try to push to the public as a fact when the findings were completely different.

But otherwise the article is all over the place. Keith should add his intent with focus.

If he wants to criticize he should start at home by criticizing his home boys that failing and disappointing west Indies cricket. He would be better off calling for the replacement of Holder as captain, and Brown as chief selector. He is not a cricketer and I will not have to go pay watch him. He is a writer/ very boring commentator and let him keep taking people to sleep with his boring nonsense. Bravo simply tells us about what he experienced and shame on them for keep ignoring them.
