Good squad.

Like de man said, no benn. big grin

mikesiva Nov 4, 2016, 1:58:45 AM

At least this squad is playing matches against teams we have a chance of beating...lowly Zimbabwe and a Sri Lanka in decline.

Conditions will probably suit slow options though.

I would have took Samuels & Cornwall instead of Hope & Benn.

doosra Nov 4, 2016, 2:41:55 AM

Kyle Hope and Shamar Brooks had good A team tours

Suppose a guy gotta eat. lol

Jason Mohammed then should have replaced him.

dayne Nov 4, 2016, 5:24:32 AM

If the Selectors are selecting for the future, why are they persisting with Benn, why not give the experience to Warrican? Also, from the A team performances, there were other guys they could have picked to replace Samuels, they should not overload Dowrich.

natty_forever Nov 4, 2016, 5:33:37 AM

Mr. Browne, some one would like to know

If the Selectors are selecting for the future, why are they persisting with Benn

Braithwaite does put to much pressure on Charles

safh1999 Nov 4, 2016, 7:43:54 AM

Amazing! 9 bajans. i guess the NAGICO 50/50 is not the yard stick for picking this team. These guys have no fear of anyone, guess they are not liable to anyone.

sunfish Nov 4, 2016, 7:47:24 AM

I'm betting the ranch that Carter, because he's now a senior member of the squad, will be in the final eleven..

Runs Nov 4, 2016, 4:15:24 PM

Carter has not done anything so far despite numerous opportunities.

Cornfused Nov 5, 2016, 3:48:31 AM

Carter and Nurse , home picts maybe , yet to see value to the team.

Dem boys is friends with de chief selector?

Wuh Benn, Carter and Nurse doing in the squad?

analyst-kid Nov 5, 2016, 6:39:25 AM

Benn is an experienced bowler at this level in this format....if he doesn't command here given this golden opportunity it should be adios for him.

Carter can bat bowl and field....this is his opportunity to play a major role with the bat and ball otherwise he shouldn't be playing in front another batting allrounder again.

I'm no fan of Nurse...it seems he is an expensive spinner and a useful lower order bat...thats it.

With Cornwall Jaggesar,Jacobs,Warrican and Mohammed challenging, these undeserved picks are in a make or break situation....remember if WI do well they will retain their places and if they do well individually again they will retain their places

Wunna always waauh drop people. Um iz wunna that confuse West Indies cricket over the years --wunna arm chair selectors --always calling for this body and de nex body to be dropped. Let de cricket play do . We got selectors for dat although I believe dat the old archac idea of selectors should be jettisoned. The Coach should pick the team and his job would be based on his success or failure --Selectors -Abolished --
