Darren Bravo will not be considered for West Indies selection until he settles an ongoing dispute with the West Indies Cricket Board according to Courtney Browne, the West Indies' chairman of selectors. Bravo, 27, was forced to return home from Harare on the eve of the November tri-series in Zimbabwe after the WICB cancelled his match contract reacting to his criticism of board president Dave Cameron.

Bravo, who declined a WICB central contract, was also not picked in the Trinidad & Tobago squad for the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs tournament that got underway on Tuesday. Bravo recently had a Skype meeting with WICB officials, but details of the meeting have not been made public.

In the current circumstances, Browne said that Bravo could not be selected despite being "one of our better players". West Indies' next international assignment is a three-match ODI series at home against England in early March followed by a full series against Pakistan beginning on March 31 in Trinidad & Tobago.

"At this stage all I know is there is supposed to have been some discussion between Darren's team and WICB," Browne told Line and Length Network, a Barbados-based TV station. "Until that is settled, I don't think there will be much going on in terms of Darren playing cricket. He is a talented young man, one of our better players. Obviously it was sad to lose him but at times these things happen, you just need to deal with it and see how you can get him back on the field playing cricket."

I find it very interesting that Bravo
& his Lawyer have as yet not uttered a word . Evidently they are keeping their powder dry .

Or there maybe a possibility , that
the WICBC has already been served ,
notice that Bravo is taking Legal Action against them .

The people in the WICBC have always been vocal on matters like this , it is therefore remarkable that only the
Surrogates of the WICBC that are talking .

The same thing happened to Phil, his lawyers were also looking into him being fired.

So in his capacity as the President of the WICBC , Cameron is empowered to Lie regarding the Contract that Bravo had .

My opinion is that the onus was on Cameron as the President of the WICBC
to ascertain what status category Bravo had before yapping that Bravo
had an A Contract .

I believe that it is this utterance
by Cameron , that upset Bravo , since
he has stated , HE never ever had an A Contract .

As I have stated in this Forum before ,Both Cameron & Bravo need to apologise to each other . Unfortunately Cameron is so Big & Powerful ; that to apologise is utterly beneath a person of his standing in West Indies Cricket .

People need to look at this matter without jaundice eyes . In this matter it is asinine to suggest that
only Bravo should Apologise .

He is in charge, and only the directors can vote him out.
Darren on the other hand signed a contract with clauses, he violated it
We all want Darren playing cricket, he should settle that tweet and let his lawyers deal with him being sent home from the Tri-nation series, and if the penalty fit the crime.
There are two issues at hand;
1 The Tweet
2. The penalty

So he is being disciplined without the benefit of a hearing, punished before trial as it were.

First Bravo was sent home ; then he has not been selected . My take is that so far he is being punished twice for the same offense .

It is to my recollection , that only once did he called Cameron " A BIG IDIOT". Not twice . In this Forum I have stated that both Cameron & Bravo need to apologise to each other .

However I seriously doubt that Cameron would ever do that , it aint in his DNA , Egotism is embedded in
