He should come and play for canada....in 6 months it's use will be legal...as long you over 21 you can legally purchase yuh ganja....from government approved designated outlets

Maybe the price? Lot of gang warfare in SK maybe carrying up the price? Scarcity on the market?
I believe the Yardies set him up...I can't prove it but I have a sneaky feeling they planted that weed in his socks. Lol. Oh btw these are the same Yardies who contrived to hide the ball when Leewards were on their way to victory in the Yard not too long ago.

Wasn't there a case against the Rev Andre Fletcher?
I forgot what the 'smuggled' item was.
Alcohol ah cause some much damage and it legal, and a lil piece ah weed ah get man in jail. Me don't smoke weed, never have, but time people free up the herb man. Just ban public smoking and maybe at home with little kids and I good. If people can be free to destroy they liver, why not they lungs to lol
In reply to jen
But weed is still on WADA's banned list so why wud he want to be smoking during competition? Or aren't cricketers tested?
What a facking eeediot. Hope dem ban him skunt.
In reply to Drapsey

idiot police! take the weed from the boy and scold him, case done.
In reply to Maispwi
Yep, but I don't think the first class cricketers get tested regularly, I gotta ask around.
In reply to voiceofreason
all that drama and the fine is only $300 !
In reply to camos
Yup all that drama for 13 grams and $300
You see the ridiculousness of it all
I think moreso is the fact is that he transport it regionally
Cause the PM of Antigua even made a statement two weeks ago speaking about personal use of weed
This is travesty of justice
Importing 11 g? ( BTW 28g = 1 oz)
Remand for 2 days?
this is a 23-year-old Kittitian player ....not a known drug dealer....come on man....
THE LAW IS A FCUKING ASS....LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONELL ARE ASSHOLES
In reply to Narper
He is being made an example of.
In reply to Narper
Personal use is now legal in Jamaica too...you just not supposed to try to carry it through customs on to a plane.
The same standards apply in Holland.
In reply to dayne
Yeah...to show how backward a country is and how stupid their law is....in 2018
In reply to mikesiva
I did a fellowship in Holland in 1991....it was the same since then.
This year Canada is legalizing the stuff...across the board...as long as you are 19 years old and over then you will be able to purchase marijuana from any of the government approved retail outlets....
medical marijuana has been legal for some time now.
Anyway Canadians are being warned of the penalties of trying to carry marijuana across the border into US....even though many States' laws permit legal marijuana usage....it is still a Federal offence.
In reply to dayne
Ohhh...so why dont they make an example of one if the tourists who routinely smoke weed on th beaches all over Antigua.
In reply to positiveg
Add to that loss of earnings as he did not play in this match and was not selected for the Super50. Seriously though it was a dumb thing to do. He really expected to get that pass security and customs?
No wonder Yadi like him so much it must be the weed.
In reply to Narper
Two years ago, we went with my son to Amsterdam, and he found a "coffee" shop, and he indulged. I didn't partake, because I don't even smoke cigarettes.
However, they did warn my son not to try to take any of it through the airport. So, he made sure to use it all before we left Holland....
In reply to Narper
This is the type of indiscipline that should not be encouraged. He knew or should know where the wicket was and bat accordinly. He is lucky it was only $300 people has lost $m for similar stupidity.
