Ramdin bowled with a beauty from Keemo..
Keemo gain some pace from since ah last saw him.. gotta be mid-high 80s.. hope he continues to improve
Reifer on a hattrick! Gets his fifer! Khan and Phillips gone
134-9
It looks like Trinidad is just playing to get the season over as fast as possible, sad, no competitive pride.
134 all out..
Keemo wraps it up.. finish with a 3fer
Guyana large and in charge, dominant
In reply to anthonyp
Listening to the Bajan commentary one of the commies was saying that Shamarh Brooks is very impressed with Paul... he apparently said that he was the best bowler that he had faced all season... hitting the bat hard and swinging/moving it both ways.

2 day match. shiv can retire now...

T&T really needs a shake up. Very poor this season
In reply to Ray123
Yeah, they're lacking wicket-takers and the batting has been brittle at times.
Solozano & Cariah haven't really kicked on.
Ramdin has been T&T's best player & they've missed Mohammed & Hope for the batting.
In reply to WICFan
Solozano and Jangoo haven't kicked on, both have gotten alot of starts.
Cariah just had 1 innings of note, nothing else which is very disappointing from last season top run getter.
Apart from Khan and maybe St. Clair, none of the bowlers were wicket takers.
Charles and Pierre are the poorest of wicket takers to play for T&T in a while.
In reply to Andy99
Poor stuff, the experienced guys like Ramdin & Khan are doing there bit, but next year a couple of the younger guys need to show that they can be the next leaders for T&T.
Primus is another who hasn't had a great season.
In reply to WICFan
Which is why I was hoping they'd try knew spinners, Charles and Pierre both got so many games and overs and their bowling has been proven to be toothless.
In reply to Andy99
Whatever happened to Kavesh Kantasingh?
They're in desperate need of a couple of pacers coming through as well.
In reply to WICFan
Ignored despite being by far the best performing spinner(backed by his stats) on the local scene.
St. Clair isnt bad, Richards has gone backwards. This is Phillip 2nd game, should've gotten a few more.
Raphick look what you have done

93 dot balls out of 109 is well past a lack of urgency. Little wonder dat his partner got tired of picking up de slack

In reply to Narper
He was doing well and all of a sudden he cudn get a run. Its good dat he eh get out but batting at de other end must be torture

Hemraj needs to be chased around the ball field about 20 times every day to lose that extra fat and become fitter
so many starts

Yep know him personally... up to yesterday his old man was saying he's disappointed they didn't pick him for the upcoming WI A team..
Youth is humble and a really hard worker.. one the reason he picking up so much wicket is because he's a thinking bowler.. really smart youth.. one the fittest cricketer in the country

It might have been a better idea for Guyana to give some of their bench a game,it may have had more value to Guyana's cricket.

Shiv and Singh are on the bench....those are our best batsmen
The ave age of the playing XI team is about 24
In reply to Narper
Can't complain with the composition of this Guy XI
Only thing is I might have preferred to drop Johnson and keep Singh in the XI as Singh is fighting a an A-team/Test team spot, moreso than Johnson.

Congrats to Reifer on his first F/C century, he is showing that he benefitted from the Tours he went on. However, Guyana should declare, Trinidad is a wounded team.
In reply to dayne
They should invoke the mercy rule and call the game
In reply to shivnotout
This 100 by Reifer could have done wonders for Hemraj or Johnson, but is ah Bajan and soon to get a recall to Windies team.Hemraj,Johnson and Permaul will have to wait for an A team call.
In reply to Baje
The champions take 2 and a half days to mek 540 fuh 9 against the weakest bowling team in the world, why should they invoke the mercy rule when they all batting like Braffit.
Looks like TT just went and recruited Kholi and Steve Smith to bat fuh dem, some proper wood passing against de Champeens,or is it Guyana batting again.
C'etait trop doux pour durer, just practicing my french which I've been learning for about 1 year, on and off.
In reply to granite
Go check out what "Guyana est en train de tanner la peau des Trinis" means!
Century to J Mohamed, with 2 consecutive 4's off Permaul. J Mo 102*.
Keemo bouncing Bryan Charles, who strikes back with a straight drive for 4! And another! 300 up for Red Force.
Bryan Charles bowled by Permaul, chipping down and attempting to hit it straight back and out of the ground. Red Force 9 down now.
Last batsman plays on to Keemo!
Match over! Red Force lose by an innings and about 90 runs.
In reply to Norm
match ova already.is only 9.00 am?
In reply to shivnotout
10:00 am in Guyana.
In reply to Norm
Tell yuh what, you and many of Guyana's supporters never expected the weakest team to play regional cricket in the Caribbean to score 322 runs. That was very surprising, considering TT was playing against the champions, the fact they made 135 in the first inning, made it even more surprising, and you didn't expect that.Mohammed's century told us what we could do with 3 or 4 of our better players.
But let me say this...battre trinite n'est pas une grosse affaire.

In reply to NarperAh see what you mean, the old saying springs to mind,"a man who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day".TBH though, everything was in good spirits because after TT,i support Guyana, always will,Guyana is our bigger brother, same mix of people and similar culture, apart from Snoop Dog.
