Grizz is a legend. Full stop. RIP (Rest in Power according to David hinds) to a founding member of my favorite musical group EVER.
So glad I got to see Pulse live a few times ...even after he stopped doing the hardcore drumming and focused more on percussions.
In reply to Cheeks
That he is. Isn't he the most successful musician from Nevis?

Walk good, Bredda Grizzly. 'Twas indeed a great turn you did here on Earth.
Chrissy, one night in the early 80's I was actually on air when Milford "Black Bullet" Edwards rang me up from NYC to tell me Steel Pulse would be doing an unplanned/impromptu show at the Brooklyn Armoury that said night. I had missed their east-coast leg weeks earlier, so I had to ditch the radio show and booked for Brooklyn, a 2½-hour drive. Pure niceness, yuh hear?
Some time later I walked into a Yardie restaurant on Market St in Philly to see David Hinds dining by himself. WTF? Why? "Yeah man, me have a yute inna de area" he told me. Cool.
In reply to Kurt
Handsworth Revolution was certainly the tune (and album) that drew me --nay! ...dragged me-- to the Pulse. Something magical about that style of playing the reggae.
