Cricket West Indies has been negatively highlighted on social media in recent times. One notable incident was when the CWI President was called a “big idiot” on Twitter by Darren Bravo. Bravo’s tweet was in response to comments made by Dave Cameron about the reason why Bravo was given a C-grade contract.

In my opinion, Darren Bravo was wrong to react in such a public and disrespectful manner, but he was responding to a public comment by Dave Cameron stating that his poor form was the reason why a C-grade contract was issued.

This approach by Cameron was also disrespectful to the player and unbecoming of a CWI President. Incidentally, this was not the first time that Cameron had disrespected his players on social media. Cameron also retweeted a fan comment about batsman Chris Gayle lack of runs and that he should be given a retirement package which he later removed and apologized for. This negative use of social media by the CWI President has done nothing to help the image of West Indies Cricket worldwide and has permanently damaged relationships and trust among players and fans.

The above says it all
twisted

A timely reminder of one of the issues with the decline of WI cricket, Dave Cameron should have been given a " Code of Conduct " booklet when he was elected to his post. There are almost no Leaders of international Sports teams who make public comments about their players, if they do it usually lead to bad endings.

Why is it so freaking Hard for people
in the Media to flat out state that:

THE INCIDENT WITH CAMERON & BRAVO WAS

SPAWNED BY CAMERON NOT KNOWING WHAT

LEVEL CONTRACT BRAVO HAD .

Let me again state the fact that this incident , wittingly or unwittingly
was spawned by the fact that Cameron
was clueless regarding what level Contract Bravo .

QUITE FRANKLY THE ONUS WAS ON CAMERON

TO KNOW WHAT LEVEL CONTRACT BRAVO HAD

BEFORE MAKING HIS PUBLIC STATEMENT .

My take is that was gross negligence
by Cameron to state something that was, to put it mildly false .

I found it very interesting that the
Readers Bureau , failed to recognize
or state that the WICBC/CWI has a
Disciplinary Committee , and that
Committee was bypassed .

Evidently the Readers Bureau & the
Media in the Region have to realize
the fact that :

BRAVO WAS ENTITLED TO HAVE A LITTLE

VERY IMPORTANT THING CALLED " DUE

PROCESS" ; HOWEVER THAT WAS BYPASSED

BY THE WICBC/CWI IN ITS RUSH TO

JUDGEMENT .

The Readers Bureau can take solace in the fact that most of the Media in the Region also rushed to Judgement ,
and failed to state that Bravo's comment was spawned by the fact that
Cameron was Clueless regarding what
level Contract Bravo had ; this apparently is what caused Bravo to call Cameron a "Big Idiot ".

The freaking fact is that ARROGANCE abounds in those in the governance of the Worst International Cricket Board in the Commonwealth aka the WICBC .

Interestingly , they decided to change
the name to CWI ; Cricket West Indies , aka Cricket Worst Idiots .Evidently
they relish proving that every day .

Thanks , when it comes to discussing
West Indies Cricket , I am always on a Roll , because what I state are
facts .

My recollection is that it is over a year since the Wehby Commission was commissioned to submit a Report regarding the Archaic Structure of
the Worst International Cricket Board
in the Commonwealth ,WICBC recently rechristened , CWI , Cricket Worst
Idiots .

It would be nice if Settlements that
Persons win from the Worst International Cricket Board in the
Commonwealth aka CWI, in Court be made
Public rather than the WICBC/CWI getting Non Disclosure Settlements .

I have no doubt that this would make
those in the WICBC/CWI more circumspect in their cavalier attitude regarding the business of
governing West Indies Cricket .

How much interest does Cameron have in cricket around the Caribbean?

For a Board President to not know what grade of contract a player was on before commenting on social media was stupid & ill judged.
