UWI Lecturer Calls For The Resignation Of West Indies Cricket Board
Well Known lecturer in Political Sociology and an avid cricket enthusiast, Dr. Christine Cummings lamented the level to which West Indies cricket has sunken and argued for the wholesale resignation of the WIPA and WICB leadership.
Asked if she was embarrassed by the current situation in West Indies cricket, “No, I am not embarrassed,” she proffered.
Cummings stated that currently West Indies cricket is bedeviled by an increase in the level of conflict of interest and surmise that this is what has led to the current impasse.
“I am fed up with the plantation approach to business in this region and our inability and lack of capacity to organize ourselves in a modern world,” she said.
She further argued that the players are currently being shafted and money is readily siphoned off to meet increased WICB administrative cost.

I know the background of this person and what you are getting is a person that has always been obstructive and without direction..I am sorry I am not picking on this lady...but ever so often she shoots and shoots without any substance...lets not forget what she got her PHD in....cricket talk that is so dominant in most rum shops across the Caribbean....figure that out...I suppose all those old geezers are PHD's as well..
CWI is doing a job...lets respect that.....we can always criticise....but that criticism must come from those that know of what they speak and show intelligence ...as opposed to getting where you are because of one's pedigree.
Who vex ..vex..its not a confrontation...but I am just tired of CWI being attacked.
