Can Miller replace Bishoo?
In reply to cricketmygame... thanks, Bishoo for any bowler.
In reply to cricketmygame
Is Bishoo still contending for a spot? Darn it, send him a memo, WI have our 4 pound pace attack...and they are highly valued: Bigly!!!
Smith, Campbell or Moseley for Powell.
Brooks for Hetmyer.
Ramdin for Dowrich.
Miller for Bishoo.
If Darren Bravo comes back to the fold then he's back into contention.
My Team:-
K. Braithwaite
J. Campbell
D. Bravo/S. Brooks
S. Hope
R. Chase
R. Reifer
D. Ramdin
J. Holder
N. Miller/D. Bishoo
K. Roach
S. Gabriel
send the Guyana team to represent West Indies
In reply to WICFan
Why Campbell?
In reply to WICFan
What did Campbell do? There was Moseley and Smith scored lots of runs. How did Campbell jump over them?
I will not pick Ramdin, I really don't care if he scored 15000 runs, he lead his team to last place, not kept wickets at any time in the series.
As a senior he was piss poor in working and leading youngsters, leave him in T&T, his International career, should be over.
In reply to openning
That's the problem with West Indies cricket.
In reply to openning
And you want people take you serious?
In reply to Baje & Pacy
Moseley scored 40 more runs than Campbell but had 4 more innings than Campbell.
Devon Smith has had more than enough chances at International level.
In reply to cricketmygame
I would have Miller and Bishoo bowling together. Holder to justify his place in the side by batting at seven, like Philander does for South africa.
Devon Smith for Powell
Ramdin for Dowrich
In reply to cricketmygame
Any links to the game?
Cannot find it on my Willow or Cricinfo.
I might play one more fantasy game.
In reply to WICFan
Like the team and do agree that S.Brook should take the #3 in the batting order esp. since Darren B is not yet willing to commit to tests.
I cant see Reifer and Holder in the same team..if Jason Holder has to play becos he is captain, then he should bite the bullet n start playing at #6 and contribute.
We need another wicket taking bowler to pair up with Roach & Gabriel - wouldnt mind one of the youngsters - e.g Jeremiah Louis, he seems to be a wicket taker or throw in the Jamaican speedster oshane Thomas or Guyana speedster R. Shepherd.
The team needs 4 bowlers n Holder to chip in; we will never win matches if we cant bowl teams out.
Shai Hope will take the gloves from Dowrich I believe. That opens up the middle order for the possible inclusion of Brooks or Bravo. I would keep Hetemyer but down the order at 6 or so, but Reifer at 6 or 7 looks good too
In reply to WICFan
Holder does not deserve his spot.
He is a medium in everything.
Medium skill in batting, bowling, brains etc.
In reply to natty_forever
They will never bring back Ramdin. Even if he topped the batting and catches etc etc.
In reply to rillo
Maybe not, but while he's still captain, he plays.
In reply to Bestian
Why would you take one of your best batting talents and fork him over by making him a keeper?
Are you Courtney Browne?
In reply to Larr Pullo
Its not the first time it would have been done. Jeff Dujon first made the West Indies team as a pure batsman, but took the gloves later after David Murray's drug problems got hold of him. Actually, Barbados had dropped Dowrich in favour of Hope as its first choice keeper a few seasons back, but Hope missed the first match through injury whereby Dowrich scored heavily to hold on to his play even as Hope returned.
In reply to WICFan
Let the young guys play in the A team next month. Then we can decide if they are ready to make the next step up.
we should be selectors...we actually use our brains.
In reply to runout
the ultimate bigly it is
In reply to WICFan
Pick an all Bajan 11... oherwise major changes. We have seen the last of the Gabriel show
In reply to Larr Pullo
i agreed with you 100%, Shai do not need that additional pressure .
so few considerations for Smith
Does Reifer stay in the squad?

I would not pick Campbell either. He has not value for his wicket. Missed out on numerous tons this season before he felt that he had to try and hit everything and hit them in the air. Not ready for the international scene. Not sure when he will be ready, but temperament is not right. Aggressive ys, and could be the perfect foil to Paint, but just not right now... sad to say.
In reply to openning
As a senior he was piss poor in working and leading youngsters, leave him in T&T, his International career, should be over.
So. Not only must Ramdin, as wicketkeeper, perform better than the specialist batsmen in the test team to justify a place on that team, he is also responsible for the performances of those under his charge in the Red Force team.
If players on the Red Force team dont perform, its evidence that Ramdin cannot earn a place on a West Indies team on his own merit
Its true that he didnt keep wicket in this competition, opting instead to give a younger keeper an opportunity to gain valuable experience out in the middle. And yet he still better than any keeper in the region. Especially the current West Indies wicketkeeper.
Wonder what the cow bawl would have been had he kept wicket? Likely something along the lines of why he keeping back a younger player and denying them opportunity?
Ah well
In reply to imusic
Did Ramdum play as a keeper?
If he had wicketkeep and made those runs,
then one can argue for him.
But he made runs not keping.
Keeping an making runs is another story.
Sorry Randum not in test team.
In reply to tc1
What pressure? Shai can perform both roles adequately
