So I went to this fabulous wedding yesterday

The groom is a member of the UWI Panoridim Steel Orchestra so the entire group provided music for a lovely outdoor ceremony and background music for the cocktails.
Their Pan in A Minor was out of this world as were their reggae and dance hall renditions.

The reception was special. The best part was the utter lack of pretensions - it was just family and very close friends. Can't remember the last time I saw folks so happy.

Pan in A Minor has to be one of the greatest pieces of music ever written

Kitchener composed big band tunes and then put them to a calypso beat. His music will song good in any genre!!

My Bachelor Party was nothing to write home about, but my wedding was outta dis world - nighttime looking over the hills of Kingston. Memories are as fresh as the day.

There is something very special and uniquely Caribbean about steel band music.

I am glad you had a great time at the wedding!

Yes - and no one has perfected it like the Trinis. We really had a good time.

I definitely concur with what You have stated . Lord Kitchener's forte was his ability to tailor his Calypsoes
and music to Steel Orchestras in Trinidad .

It is this ability that had most
Steel Orchestras play his Calypsoes
" ON THE ROAD " as the result , he
earned the name " THE ROAD MARCH KING
OF THE WORLD ".

His Calypsoes , whether played by Steel Orchestras or Regular Dance Orchestras are noted for their musicality .Long Live the Calypsoes
and Music of this Musical Genius .
