The number of changes being undertaken at the moment at Cricket West Indies (CWI) is all about providing an enabling environment for its players to achieve peak performance. This according to president Dave Cameron.

Head coach, the Australian Stuart Law retains his position and will have as his bowling coach either Ian Harvey from Australia or Alfonso Thomas from South Africa. Those announcement will be made in the near future.

According to Cameron, "The changes have come about because it is all about providing an enabling environment for its players to achieve peak performance." In recent times the performance of the Windies senior team has been under par, as they lost the Test series in New Zealand 2-0, the ODI series 3-0 and the T-20 series 2-0. The Windies U-19 team also failed to retain their ICC World U-19 crown and finished tenth in the tournament which concludes tomorrow in New Zealand.

Cricket West Indies (CWI) is all about providing an enabling environment for its players to achieve peak performance.

All these changes by CWI will have its benefits for Cameron, only. Disbanding the WICB/CWI is the real change that is required to resurrect West Indies cricket.
CWI is top heavy. There 122 positions in CWI including 16 directors. Some of these directors fill more than one position in the organization. For each position one holds, doesn't one receive remuneration?

MR. WHYCLIFFE “DAVE” CAMERON holds 7 positions including being chairman.These people are paid before the players and collectively earn more than the players. With all the different committees -Finance Committee Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee Human Resources Development Committee Cricket Committee Umpires and Match Referees Sub-Committee Commercial Affairs - Marketing Business Development and Communications International Fixtures Committee Disciplinary Tribunal Ethics Committee Medical Panel Corporate Governance and Nominations Committee Chief Executives Committee - OUR CRICKET IS THE WORST IT HAS EVER BEEN.

What has WICB/CWI done in the last 25 years other than destroy our beautiful game?
