analyst-kid 2018-02-02 13:44:36

Peat Salmon licks...Lamont has to come and try to stop a rampaging Powell and Hodge

Leewards 67/0 in 12 overs

positiveg 2018-02-02 13:48:45

Gayle come on now 82/0 off 15
Hope the licks continue

positiveg 2018-02-02 13:51:00

Look like i GM, Powell.
stupes de man just walk down de wicket and give Gayle an easy wicket.

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 13:52:32

Gayle is a very economical bowler with his spin...he should bowl for WI more often again.

mikesiva 2018-02-02 13:52:34

In reply to positiveg

Powell out for 44.
smile

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 13:53:49

Powell must learn as an opener he must carry his team for 30 overs at least to about 150.

positiveg 2018-02-02 13:55:00

In reply to analyst-kid

true he need a scuff for scoring 40's

Pacy 2018-02-02 13:55:27

In reply to analyst-kid

He stopped bowling once be became a captain which was a bad decision for him and WI under his cPtaincy. .

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 13:55:57

I also find outside of Narine, most of the spinners going for 4 an over in this tournament so far.

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 13:58:19

Leewards scoring at 5 an over which is good....they need to do this for 10 to 15 overs without losing much wickets

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 13:59:14

Eyes on the Icon Samuels...WI and Leewards need him to show some form.

openning 2018-02-02 14:00:13

In reply to analyst-kid

Narine understands, the different between bowling four overs and ten or more.
Russell lack match practice, working in the gym or in the nets, so different from competition.
The more he play, the more comfortable his cricket will be.

DIEHARD 2018-02-02 14:02:07

In reply to analyst-kid

But the openers had such a high dot ball percentage...

Lowering that would mean an even better run rate, this is where our 50 over cricket continues to lag behind the rest of the world..

Hodge now have 37 dot balls out of 58...man..that's not good enough

robbo 2018-02-02 14:02:27

Thomas all over the place.... and medium paced.... ball not coming out of his hand properly...poor wrist position according to commie Kenny Benjamin... very disappointing

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 14:06:43

I expect Russell to be rusty but the rest of Jamaica bowling disappointing me...Barbados pacers look good, the Leewards has a very good pair Louis and Berridge, Guyana pacers look good...

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 14:09:36

the Leewards has to put up a good score cuz Jamaica batting looks very dangerous and it has depth with Russell,Powell and Miller!

rootsie114 2018-02-02 14:21:16

Too many dot balls!!

In reply to DIEHARD

It's Miller time!
cool
Hodge out for 61.

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 14:39:12

In reply to DIEHARD

The dot balls is not good, but despite that Hodge has carried his team near 30 overs and 150....this achievement by an opener enables the team with wickets in hand to score at 6-8 an over for the last 20 overs to a 280-300 total.

voiceofreason 2018-02-02 14:40:52

In reply to analyst-kid

Hodge did his job but he too needs to carry on as he has been doing this for a very long time!

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 15:02:20

Samuels however, is playing the role for the Leewards that we need from him for WI!

mikesiva 2018-02-02 15:07:48

In reply to analyst-kid

Lamont gets the wicket of Devon Thomas for 27.

Samuels gets his half century!

pariaman 2018-02-02 15:08:04

Once a runs truck always a runs truck

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 15:09:21

Leewards has passed 200 with 14 overs to go...should be an easy 300 score with seven wickets in hand!

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 15:11:37

Samuels giving Jamaica gripe!

Raggs 2018-02-02 15:15:45

Russell should get licks pon top of licks..

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 15:22:39

Leewards 223/3 in 41 overs Samuels 67 not out in 62 balls, Cornwall 14 not out in 16 balls!

analyst-kid 2018-02-02 15:24:14

NYCGURU 2018-02-02 17:16:24

That total is not likely to be enough. The announcer mentioned the Leewards attack is pretty tame.

mikesiva 2018-02-02 17:31:57

Athanaze removed Walton for 30 and gayle for 44. Jamaica 85-2.

That action by Athaneze looking a bit suspect to me. What you think?
