A "little known" cricketer gets $1M
Shame on the WICBC, they are unable to retain talent, nay they can't even spot talent, much less cultivate and develop it.
He could very well turn out to be a auction headline grabber and nothing else..
What is puzzling, is that Chris Jordan has encourage him to play for England, where he has to wait for 5 years to qualify and is not certain to be selected, but if he returns to the WI he could be in the team after a few good performances in the regional matches. Also Chris Jordan chose to play for England, where is his Test career now, does he think he would make the England team again?

Why do Bajans have split loyalty?
He had a mediocre performance (compared to his excellence) the other night in BBL. Commentators speculate he is hiding an injury.
Hope all is well with him to get the Rupees.

This article should put to rest Grave's talk about fighting to get Archer to play for the West Indies. CWI should not waste its time. Reading that article reminded me of the basketball coach who cut Michael Jordan from his high school team, and the college coach who underutilized Tom Brady at the University of Michigan.

Some dreamy comparisons there..

Perhaps the comparisons will become less dreamy with the passage of time

Good comeback.

You don't know any other Windies countrymen who played for England?

Your Observation is absolutely correct
Unfortunately not a blasted thing is going to be done by the Worst International Cricket Board in the Commonwealth .
This demonstrates that the people in
the governance of West Indies Cricket
currently are clueless regarding how
to solve the myriads of problems that
beset Cricket in the region .
That being the case what is needed is Fresh thinking and a fresh Start . This of necessity means a COMPLETE
Reorganization of Cricket in the Region ; in essence no Stone must be
left unturned and must include those who overall are in the governance of West Indies Cricket ; and the Regional Boards .
The problem is that the WICBC/CWI &
the Regional Boards adamantly refuse
to their archaic Structure . That is
precisely why I am of the opinion that they must ALL be removed .
I also believe that the ICC must dock the payments to Countries whose Boards show no sign of Improving . That hopefully would act as a Catalyst .
