Bro. This man is living in a parallel universe. He still believed eves that the. Ppp and Jagdeo is running the country. He fancies himself as a philosopher, however the judge at his trail thinks that he is nuts.

Everyday he and his dogs attracknquite some attention from John public. And there is where he gets his column material. You tell me, with all the problems facing Guyana currently, can’t he grow a pair and call this government out???? Or will he forever hide his cowardice and continuously attack the ppp!

Narps, I read the article. If even half of what Freddie alleged, then it is a very sad indictment on the various institutions, the intellectual class and the legal fraternity.

Government alone cannot change deep ingrained mores, in fact changes like these are made by civil society and it appears Guyana lacks those democratic and civil institutions that are necessary for development and enlightenment.

Fortunately, Guyana has the right leaders in office now, so what is needed is for non governmental civil society to do its part.

Freddie's unflattering articles prove that Guyana still has a large measure of democracy - more so than Middle Eastern countries run by religious types, African dictatorships, socialist states, etc.

Freddie should try living in those countries. His opinion of Guyana would improve considerably.
