No comments on Shiv last inning?

Getting bowled down by Athanaze? Is he seeing the ball now, or are his reflexes shot?

Pelted down, you mean. The comms were talking about it over and over!

There was a whole lot more about this match to talk about tho, wasn't it? Like Jimbo's outstanding batting and bowling. He certainly showed the selectors that he's worth his weight in gold. And that's a whole lot of gold!

Anyway, Shiv is still a very valuable player for the Jaguars. With Reifer and K Joseph off to play for WI A, Shiv's contributions will be even more valuable - more so than big lazy Barnwell's, for example.

Let's hope Shepherd and Pestano will be fit to take up the slack and take some of the load off of Keemo and Sherfane.

I didn't here anyone talking about it "over and over". Nor did I see a pelt, even though I rewound and watched it over to see what happened. It seems like he just played the wrong line.

BTW when Hafeez, multiple offending, and convicted pelter was pelting out Devon Smith alyuh was celebrating...

lol lol lol

You didn't see the region's worst pelter pelting? Darn! I guess you were so unhappy with Shiv's dismissal that it must have escaped your attention! smile

when Hafeez ... was pelting out Devon Smith alyuh was celebrating...

Nah, but it got funnier and funnier as it became obvious that Devon just couldn't play Hafeez. Of course, the celebration of Hafeez and the Pakistanis made it even funnier! It was just hard to believe that Devon was indeed being bamboozled by Hafeez.

Anyway, the way the Bajans going, Devon might still return to international cricket.

But that's the point...when a bowler pelts, especially a spinner, it totally throws off your timing. Nothing funny about a bowler cheating and getting a batsman out.

Windies2017 2018-02-06 09:07:10

It's funny how you don't say anything when he's scoring runs.. usual bigotry

True, but the determined batsman would leave that to the umpire.

For some strange reason, Devon's inability to overcome Hafeez's tactics became funny with time. You have to wonder why wasn't any other international batsman having similar issues with Hafeez, who must have been pelting others too.
