The honest truth is human beings like to attach messianic intentions to our activities...

We vote for Hilary instead of Trump because Trump could be the next Hitler...

Our political candidates in the Caribbean are the morally right choice and the opposing candidate just has grubby hands...

Stem cell research is bad because it kills babies..

Stem cell research is good because it saves lives...

Improvements in medicine "save lives", extends life expectancy, reduced infant mortality...yet at the same time population booms are creating competition for resources..

I can go on and on..

The truth is our scientific intentions are motivated by curiousity first and foremost and a desire to play with toys..all moral intent are spurious.
