ANOTHER "CRY" FOR CARICOM INTERVENTION

Emir 2018-02-07 07:42:53

But I am afraid CARICOM is not going to act, they do not have the will to deal with rogue members such as Antigua.

There is little doubt, that the current West Indies Cricket Board of Control (yes I have reinstated the name), is seeking to divide and conquer. This is a long known, and equally misguided attempt at short-term success in many failed organizations.

Methinks that Andre is a regular Reader of this Forum . Some of what He has stated I have stated in this Forum many times .

BTW , I have always referred to the
Big Idiots as being in the Governance
of the West Indies Cricket Board of
Control . The only difference is the fact that those who founded the WICBC
were of a different Pigmentation .

This is precisely why I continuous call this Lot THE MIMIC MEN ; they
relish behaving like those who they
inherited the WICBC .

" THIS IS A CLASSIC CASE OF

MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO ".

There must be another election in the CARICOM sometime this year.

Whatever happened to Dr Rowdy's pre-election promises?

With T&T having the strongest economy in the region, I thought his promise to change things would've been a slam dunk.

There are many things you can call out PM Rowley for, but failure to arrest the WICBC is not his doing alone.

When you have rogue governments like Antigua going into agreement with the WICBC, and doing everything to scuttle CARICOM action, then you have Barbados whose grumble pointed to bracing the WICBC, although not as strong as Antigua, you kinda get a clearer picture of the situation

CARICOM, unlike the UN or EU, do not have the culture of majority rule- so for example, if the majority of CARICOM members agree to take action against the crooks, a few like Antigua for example, could break that agreement with no forms of sanctions or punishment.

As far as the TTCB, he is taking action by supporting those fighting the TTCBC and the court case is coming up soon.

If the court rules in favor of those who care about cricket- and against the TTCBC- then expect that to roll up to the WICBC.

We badly need Jamaica and Guyana on board.

Your comment above is not only inciteful , it is accurate . There is
one Country in the Region whose main aim is to pack the West Indies Team with its Players .

This in my opinion is all THAT
Cricket Board is interested in , It
does not give a Rats Ass regarding the current status of the competitiveness of West Indies Cricket .

This has been been artfully stated in
this Forum on several occasions by
proponents of this selfish strategy .

It is the Selfishness by Countries in
the Region that has blinded the Leaders of the various Countries to
fully come to grips Regarding this fact :

THE WICBC/CWI & ITS MEMBER BOARDS

ARE FAILED ENTITIES . THEREFORE THEY

MUST BE COMPLETELY RESTRUCTURED IF

WE WANT CRICKET IN THE REGION TO

IMPROVE .

I don't blame any regional board, for putting development into its players, thats what each member is elected to do.
Why is each team in competition? Are these teams not providing players to the CWI/WICB?
I would be very upset with the BCA and proud of TTCB, if T&T had fifteen players on the West Indies team.

ANOTHER "CRY" FOR CARICOM INTERVENTION with TTCB

runout 2018-02-08 10:29:12

After 40 years of Caricom, we still have a very divided region. We cannot agree on much, our politics is worse than ever, the economies are stuttering, and the region is violence infested.

What has this esteemed organization achieved in uplifting the people of the region? just askin'

So now we want them to fix WI cricket? Good luck!
