If anyone has time and want to see something special, then watch
the Eagles Parade in Philly ..you will not only see a spectacle but one of the
most beautiful cities in the world, a very old one at that, and see some of the
most attractive TV girls too smile Have met a few of them smile
just google cbs3 in Philly ,my favorite station and do the same for fox29,nbc 10 and abc6 and pick your
treat.
NBC 10,the Eagles station will have total all day coverage.
You will also learn about the riots of Sunday night..

smile
It's a great day for the Paarade too...cold 30, or so blustery cold, dry and sunny.. smile and you will get an idea of why I
pick this place to live and came to love it over my old haunt ,the Big Apple.

One thing one can look for on the Parkway is the flags of all nations..the Black Gold and Green used to occupy 1st spot
entering from the area closest to the Art Museum as you enter Downtown.

Broadcasts began at 8 a.m and will go on till after Parade and Program end late afternoon.
It will be the biggest crowd , expected in excess of Two million for an event of this kind in Philly history.
It's also education day...all schools, parochial and public and Universities are closed big grin

Once in a liftime event for Philly.

Hope TODAY they're not eating horse poop again, climbing light posts, breaking hotel awnings, burning personal properties, climbing other peoples' gate, punching police horses, flipping cars of innocent people, etc.....

Enjoy your parade sensibly! cool

He's still around .He maybe there because a lot of past players have been
here. He doesn't live in Philly area but I thinks he's doing ok and his daughter as you probably know is a high jumper
that went to the Olympics.

I think things will be ok for the daylight hours. The concern
that after dark when, not if, booze takes hold, you could have some
problems.
But by and large,I don't expect much or any disorder. The people, even the
stupid ,will perhaps be too drained to spoil the occasion.
BTW, most if not all the incidents on Sunday were by out of town people as you know, the Eagles outreach embrace
the Tri State area and the culprits are mainly from Delaware County which
borders Philly to the south.
And arrests have been made in the case of the broken storefront window, costs
of which is 4k. There are too many cameras now for the stupid to do such insane things
and the problem areas have been upgraded to LED lighting.
This is a well planned event and the security forces are on wide alert.
Nothing stupid should be allowed to spoil what is a One -in-a-lifetime Event.
Most citizens hope that the knuckleheads will go to bed early.
Crowd size is being estimated at over 3 million, meaning that there will be
nearly 2 million from out of Philly.
I have not seen much so far as I have been on the road ,but now I am home
I will watch my friends, Ukee Washington, cousin of Denzil and my good buddy
Don Bell, sports director at Channel 3 CBS in Philly. Their female anchor, Jessica is
easy on the eyes. Ukee is chief Anchor at the station and a Philly born and bred.

Whats the deal with the Philly police greasing the light poles???

Whats up with that?

It is a long tradition by unruly elements to climb the light poles, especially the aluminum
ones as part of their celebration involving winning teams...flyers,76ers,Plillies and
after many years,Eagles. Often times they uproot the posts as they did last Sunday.

It gets amusing sometimes. Weeks ago they climbed them after the NFC game with Vikings even though
the authorities had greased before hand.
So for the SB, the authoriti8es applied what they said was a better grease. And the rest is history.

This time they not only climbed then but uprooted a few blacking out lights around City Hall.
Apparently they did not take down any posts in the other Traditional gathering spot in Northeast Area as the authorities had LED
lighting installed in addition to to the better grease.

They even climb the big electric poles if they are around and of course trees of which
there are few or none close to City Hall and the Northeast site

A few of the culprits have been arrested and more will be because cameras were all over.

But I am still LMAO over the better grease ploy.
It's Philly man, a place not unlike a few in JA.
