This guy's first class performances thus far are quite impressive.I do not recall any West Indian fast bowler at this age being so composed since Mikey Holding hit the first-class scene in 1973.

Keemo Mandela Paul
In reply to Dukes
Good prospect. Unlike Mikey, he also bats. Good all rounder in the making for WI senior squad.
In reply to runout
Mikey could bat ask Bob Willis and yes Paul is a great prospect no point in Holding him back he is ready.
Having seen the shower of shite we sent on the last tour to England Bishool(even though he hardly played) Gabriel and Roach excepted. It has to be said Paul is more than ready.
Alyuh gwine have to get some Guyanese selectors first.
In reply to DirtyDan
Shemron is Guyanas quota pick. Need Keeno to play for Bim and then he is a sure pick
In reply to runout
Wunna won't stop that Bim nonsense.
Keemo can't make Bim team
In reply to runout
He doesn't have to sit on the bench..
At first glance, I thought it read Keemo Mankad Paul.

t
That is pure wutliss from you.
I did initially have concerns about his action but having scrutinised it recently Im happier with it.... he has a slight kink in his arm but it appears locked and his is a slightly round arm action.
I really like the fact that he varies his pace, his can move the ball both ways and bowl a really good Yorker.
Good prospect

His strike rate is very impressive. As far as most compsed, Marshall at 20 was similar. However Jerome Taylor is the best young Windies fast bowler I have ever seen. It is a pity that he fractured his back at so young an age.
The WI has a very promising group of young fast bowlers now. Are we going to develop at least a few into world beaters
Ok...here is a challenge to WI cricket strategist...we all agreee that Keemo is a talent. What is the WI doing to mould and develop him?
He will be left playing cricket at the club level in Guyana...whereas he should be fast tracked into some fast bowling clinic overseas. His diet and fitness monitored. His skills sharpened. And his workload properly managed.
In reply to runout
Or he could go to England.
In reply to ponderiver... he not ready. When will we learn. And I going use a parable here ... "do not add new wine skin ...".
In reply to runout
Send him to India where they are churning out fast bowlers like crazy. Look at test and U19 teams. Plus he won't miss roti.
A shame really what with all the mighty fast bowlers we produced in the past but now some early talent with failure to thrive syndrome.
No coaching, grooming, development plans.
No wonder some resort to chucking.

Bro...maybe you can set up the Indo connection for Keemo.
In reply to Dukes
got potential this guy . But shemar holder Is ready
In reply to FanAdict
Good young talented all rounder Keemo Paul..

The above implies that Keemo is not yet ready. I have no problem with anybody saying that. However to then add that Holder is ready is puzzling.
Keemo has played 10 first class matches and has 52 wickets at less than 19 apiece as well as scoring a first class century.
Holder has played 2 first class matches and taken 10 wickets at 21 and bats at # 11.
Is Holder faster than Keemo? Probably. But.............
