Same-sex couples here can now get what is called a Domestic Partnership. Oddly enough, opposite couples can as well.

FYI: The same sex couples that did marry here before this bill was passed, their status isn't revoked or anything.

Every society should be given the opportunity to evolve at their manageable pace, as long as no one is abuse and victimize during the process, issues would be worked out in the end.
