Isn't Kent a professional English county side.
Didn't Jimmy Adams coach Kent for 5 years.
Kent is probably better financed and managed and with far better facilities than the Mudland side.
There is no shame in losing to Kent.
Expect Kent and Hampshire to do better as the tournament progresses and their players get more acclimatized.

What last season has to do with this season? Didn't you expect them to learn from last season? After all Kent is a professional side.
First game this season Mudlanders ( who triumphed convincingly in the 4 day competition) only edged them out by a few runs...with Methuselah saving Mudlanders with a 67.
