Kent are top of the table. USA are bottom.
Kent are made up of paid professionals. USA has amateurs who have other jobs.
Kent beat the USA in their match.
The answer is obvious.

Being beaten by Kent with your full strength TEAM including Methuselah the GREAT. Both are embarrassing defeats but at least Leewards lost with their 4th string team.

..and de thing is...after today many of the teams will lose their WI players.
My money is firmly on Barbados to win this thing for once. In my opinion the youngsters coming in the Barbados team will make it stronger.

Isn't Kent a professional English county side.
Didn't Jimmy Adams coach Kent for 5 years.
Kent is probably better financed and managed and with far better facilities than the Mudland side.
There is no shame in losing to Kent.
Expect Kent and Hampshire to do better as the tournament progresses and their players get more acclimatized.
First game this season Mudlanders ( who triumphed convincingly in the 4 day competition) only edged them out by a few runs...with Methuselah saving Mudlanders with a 67.
