I always thought that mashing up Syria was just to appease Israel.The biggest terrorist state in the Mid East continues to break international laws,but not a word from anybody.When one Israeli is killed the whole fcuking world hears about it.

Everything I read about Saddam goes contrary to the evil they painted him to be- Don't get me wrong, he was no saint and the Kurds felt it and anyone who tried to politically oppose him.

I interviewed many Iraqi Christian citizens, they loved him and was his biggest supporters.

Iraq had a first world development infrastructure and they were pretty much crime free with a high level of literacy and non existent poverty.

Sadaam had the mid East in check,we have to face it pal some people need to be ruled with a strong arm until they progress,it's part of the genesis of all nations in some way or the other..and in the Middle East no Gov't is safe from the people either..

Great old world countries Iraq and Syria original civilizations after giving us Algebra and Astronomy taking their time to recover after the advent of mind numbing religion bombardment and barbarism,even Sadaam and Assad knew a man running in with a sword shouting "Allah U Akbar" is unreasonable and irrational and must be taken out,now being broken by modern imperialists who are now saying the same....it can't be easy..

Sadaam,Assad and Ghadaffi the last of true Middle East leaders who knew what they had to do in lands historically awash with tribal blood before them,you can't impose your preferred ideals on such lands,progress takes more time for others and they were all making progress..

Assad on borrowed time right now,I wish him and Syria the best.

Just realized I read Haliwell's "Assad" as "Saddam"...shows how the US just recycles the same propaganda and no one holds to account...

the easy thing bout propaganda is that all it needs is a medium...credibility doesnt matter because at the end of the day most believe what they want to believe.
