He should still be captain of our LO team.He is better than all the captain's at the moment.

Good grief!!!! Is West Indies cricket all about playing for that team???? Any straight thinking team or player in the world of sport goes out there to win. And surely Sammy would've given the Windwards a better to win & at the same help mold yoUnger players in that team, into better players, given his experience. So if its not about winning why the hell the Windwards entered in the first place???

I agree I think Sammy would of been a good addition to the WWI squad.
He seems a good captain when it comes to motivating the youngsters and getting the best out of people.
I see Sammy's role beyond the field alone, and think he might come out to be a good coach even if he decides to take that route.
He already shows he can punch above his weight.

FYI Sammy did partake in the Super 50 last year to the chagrin of some of the Windwards commentators who felt he did not warrant selection as he did not take part in their sub regional tournament. Why should he have to deal with that added tot he fact that he will not be selected to play for Windies under this Admin.


Allyuh called him all kind of ridiculous puerile names when he was captaining. Leff the Man! The World loves Darren Sammy but his own people cannot appreciate him!!!!

If that is the case then the dumbasses who run the sport there, who can't appreciate that a player of Sammy's stature need not have to qualify through a lesser tournament to represent the Windwards, are even worse than those atop the Windies board.
