They played the following bowlers- Gabrie, Cottrell, Primus, Narine, Pierre, Khan.
Ramdin was forced into #4.
Add the batters- Jangoo and Webster are newbies and Rajah made his debut.
What went into the selectors mind?
Certainly, Primus could have sit this out.

Why were evin Lewis and Jason Mohammed prevented from playing because they were preparing for West Indies but all the bajans in the squad were released?

Lewis and Mohammed returned to T&T, to get ready for the Qualifiers, that was stated yesterday, during the commentary.
T&T like most of the other teams, are without its experience players.
Why is Simmons or Badree not selected for this format?

I was surprised yesterday that Bim had their top players because as I understood it, the players selected for WI duty were leaving and I had believe it to be the same for both teams but as it transpired only TT got jook

I don't know but Jason don't drink alcohol and he do not partake in certain stuff so I will be surprise.
Lewis is a serious chap and I would be surprise he blanks national duty for mere carnival
If in fact, they did leave team duty only to get to Carnival, I will be very disappointed in both of them and there will be answers required, but let us not go there as we cannot deal with mere speculation

the players you mentioned have no interest in representing TT and cannot be counted as missing, none of them are available for selection.

Why were Trinidad allowed no replacements prohibiting selection of Pollard and Bravo?

I am told rd force went with a squad of 16 and were then told their two best batsmen couldn't play...hence ramdin and primus forced to bat up the order.
Was this a Trinidad selector issue?
was it decided by wicb selectors?
How many other players were withdrawn to train with the squad?
How much notice did Trinidad get and were no replacements available! It was only a one day game and did not clash with carnival....
