as a commentator. Not discussing developments under his role as director of windies cricket but to commentate on ball to ball on the field happenings...I do wonder...

but it is what we want ta hear 'bout? Ian Bishop and Tino Best gat dat covered
In reply to Raggs
Personally, I think Jimmy is potentially a better commentator than Bish and Tino....
In reply to mikesiva
maybe so but that's not his job description as the moment.

the standard of commentary in the caribbean is abysmal......... it started going down hill when the commentators started to believe the cricket was about them and not the people on the field.
Fazeer as much as he is up himself is not bad , I have time for Wilkinson senior, probably my favourite ,Bish,Dujon,Holding and Jimmy Adams.
The rest are an assault on the ears and the senses, and would be best listened to in Braille
Tino is getting boring repeating the same thing over and over.
He just got an schooled by Jimmy Adams, about batting.

You heard it too....

I had a post about this earlier, Brooks is doing the same.
I reference Amla and Steve Smith.
If Tino wants to be any good, he should comment on what he is seeing
Only reason the director of cricket should be in that commentary box is that Curtley Ambrose has gone missing and they ask him politely to fill in for the night.
