I have plenty time for this youngster.
He is going to make Barbados cricket, strong again.

Fidel has taken all three wickets against Barbados...Brathwaite, Philips and Carter.

wonder how much remember in that winning WC U19 team Shamar Springer was ahead of Hetmyer in the batting but he only gets a piece in his national team this year?

As I type he falls for 49 in his first List A match for Barbados.

I just hope he has coaches assisting him with his game, I liked him from the U19 WC.
He has played two matches so far for the Pride this year, he made 50 odd not out in that match, and today 49.
Good start to his career.

Best young bat in Barbados and maybe WI in his age group.

This may be so but the Bajan selectors dont seem to think he is better than Stoute or Carter.

Still stuck in the "Name Brand" mentality. They have no foresight whatsoever! Cannot see why you persist with Carter in the 4-day season instead of letting the youth get his feet wet.

The management in the region has to look at the U19 performance, and players that had outstanding performance, should be work with.
Springer's performance at the U19 WC, should had been enough to fast tracked him, into the Barbados Pride squad, ahead of Stoute, Carter or even Greaves.
From the last U19 WC, Nyeem Young is someone, that should be work with.

Were you impressed by Nyeem Young’s batting or bowling or both ?.. he certainly didn’t set the world on fire with his bowling in the U19 WC but for what is worth I think he has something about him.

I liked both, he did not had the performance like the Indians, but he is someone that can be work with.
He should play for one of the Elite clubs next season

I agree.... of the bowlers on show at the WC he was the only one that impressed Bishop....hadn’t heard of him before the tournament but as I say he appears to have something about him.
