He appears to be a double orphan. He was adopted at an early age after his parents died and his adopted parents also died the last one in November 2017.

I caught one segment of Rachel Maddow last night wherein she showed Republican Senator Chuck Grassley hypocritically commenting that
“[We] have not done a very good job of making sure that people that have mental reasons for not being able to handle a gun...”
Problem is "Grassley was the chief sponsor of a bill to make it easier for the mentally impaired to buy a gun". That was passed and signed one year ago. To boot, she says it was a sole (stand-alone) bill, not a line item on some other bill-- the very first by this administration.

i think on the news the said in florida you can buy an AR 15 or a shotgun at the age of 18. he passed the background check. you cant buy a glock or other firearm until you are 21. Now isnt that funny.

The Columbine shooting in 1999 was a big news event in which 12 kids were murdered.
The Parkland School shooting has more casualties than Columbine and if the recent past is any indication of what will happen, we'll be moving on by next week.
Society have gotten desensitised with mass killings and have resigned to the fact that mass killings are a way of life in America.
And to think that these incidents are exclusively caused by social issues or stupid President is not entirely correct. You'd have to look closer to a lack of gun regulation in America.
