NBA All Star break

It has been a great first half. Surprises to me:

1) Cleveland has been so bad.
2) Raps - have changed their game so drastically from one season to the next and been elite at it.
3) OKC turning it around and looks like they could get out of the West (I thought egos would clash)

Some teams are running on fumes and need the break.

1. This version of the Raptors is interesting. They are not as ISO heavy as in previous years, they are longer and deeper and Derozen has added the deep ball to his deadly mid range game.

2.I never thought that Biston is ready to come out of the East. Tatum is to young, and Brown is also playing major minutes for the first time.

3.My pick to come out of the East is either Toronto or the retooled Cavs.I still need to see someone beat the Cavs four times.

4. The Dubs and the Rockets in the west.

Paying attention to the first half of an NBA Season is like counting M&Ms in a bag.

1. LeBron put enough pressure on the League by throwing games to ensure he got the role players he needed...no way the front office pulled that off on their own.

2. Can the Rockets challenge the Warriors.

3. See you at the Conference finals.

You are obviously very big on conspiracy Theories i see. Maybe i had it wrong all along, i thought the league was made up of 30 individual owners with their own interest, i was not aware it was one entity whose sole purpose was to please Lebron James. Oh well guess i was wrong for a long time.

Big? No. But why would anyone give up what was given up to the Cavs who has dominated the East, or in fact LeBron who has dominated the East, for what they got back in return?

Not a single player given up was gonna help these teams, yet the Cavs got in return some of the best role players available.

Why are these teams so eager to make the Cavs viable? This is the only team, the Cavs, who has twice now in Lebron's tenure made this kinds of swaps in the middle of the Season to bolster their team!

That does not make you go hmm? This is the same team who traded Kyrie for peanuts. Who brought in Wade and the former Bulls star? Who could not do due diligence with IT before trading for him.

Who can't figure out the draft.

Somehow they can put together multi player, multi team trades and come of like this?

Please.

With how much LeBron loves the easy path to the finals, all you heard about was which team in the West he would be headed to!
Really?

Which Conference is the NBA's baby?

Were you aware that the Lakers were trying to get rid of Clarkson all year ? Its been known that their plan was to dump enough salary to be in position to attract two Max contracts. That is why they traded for Brook Lopez whose contract comes off the books at the end of the year. Isiah Thomas is another expiring contract at the end of the season. The Cavs was a desperate team going no where as constructed. Give the Cavs ownership credit for being willing to pay the big luxury tax bill. There are a lot of owners out there who are not willing to pay those millions in tax bills.

So that's one ... and they crave Lebron...so why help him in Cleveland?

Btw, with two max contracts the Lakers won't be going anywhere either, as long as the Warriors remain in tact!
