Seems like they are playing test cricket against Windwards. A run rate of 2.89 after 18 overs in a fair pitch is simply not good enough at this level

Trinidad Gain Test Status?

Really! Is that a regional 4 day being played???
Barbados also struggled against the Windward Islands bowling...in fact in BOTH matches.
McCoy,Hodge,Johnson and Mayers are a formidable attack in List A esp in restriction.
Better showing, guess the experienced players making some difference.
Current RR 4.67
In reply to EmirRemember Shillingford is getting the nod to pelt, can't say the same about Narine, they calling he all de time.Seriously though Shilly is a difficult bowler/pelter to hit.

I just believe they need to bat more positively and I don't know why they picked Primus ahead of Emrit
In reply to Emir
I just can't see that myself, unless Emrit is injured.

He flew all the way from Hong Kong and they making him sit in the bench
Common sense....
You not good enough to make the original 14 according to those picking the team, due to players leaving you get called up to make up back the numbers, obviously the players who were selected in the original squad would have the better chance of playing.
And next thing, 'he flew all the way from Hong Kong' maybe thats just it, he jet lagged or not yet quite match ready.

This Primus feller failed the team today- he was the reason for the defeat.
He wasted at least 6 balls when batting with Rammo- he kept on swinging and missing and then his first two overs cost 28 runs giving the WI a great start.

How did that turn out?
