https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/13/politics/trump-stormy-daniels-handling/index.html
CNN is reporting President Trump has been seeking counsel from confidantes on how he should handle the Stormy Daniels situation. The source said Trump is being told by advisers not to fight Daniels' decision to break a confidentiality agreement because it would make him look guilty. This source said it's the only reason Trump has stayed quiet on the issue and hasn't been tweeting about it.
A case of damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

I listen to a religious radio station (available on the internet at www.newlife.fm) for its music. Good stuff.
Prior to the breaking of the Stormy Daniels story, the favorite topic of discussion was all the ills associated with pornography. According to the hosts, it's the worst thing that has ever happened to mankind. Yes, more destructive than illicit drug use/peddling.
Fast forward to the breaking of the Stormy story. The word pornography is no longer part of their vocabulary.
Yes, the silence is deafening.

Stormy Daniels was "truthful about having unprotected vaginal intercourse with Donald Trump in July 2006," according to a polygraph test report from 2011, CNN reports.
The report states that the "probability of deception was measured to be less than 1%." It was given to CNN by Michael Avenatti, Daniels' attorney, and contains three pertinent questions: "Around July 2006, did you have vaginal intercourse with Donald Trump?," "Around July 2006, did you have unprotected sex with Donald Trump?" and "Did Trump say you would get on 'The Apprentice'?"
Daniels replied yes to all three questions. The first two were analyzed to be truthful and the third question was "inconclusive," according to the polygraph examiner, Ronald Slay.

6"Twill be a Stormy 60 Minutes at 7 pm tomorrow on CBS stations and on the CBS digital streaming news service CBSN as Anderson Cooper interviews her.
The interview, conducted by longtime host Anderson Cooper, actually occurred earlier this month, instigating loud calls for the network to televise the episode sooner. And its airing even though Trumps lawyer obtained a restraining order from an arbitrator that was meant to stop the interview from becoming public.
And her lawyer is now saying they have a DVD, and warning Trump and his lawyer to be careful of what they might wish to say after the 60 Minutes show tomorrow evening!

The Transcript -Basketball teking too long
Anderson Cooper: Are you saying that can be seen as a contribution to benefit a campaign?
Trevor Potter: I am. it's a $130,000 in-kind contribution by Cohen to the Trump campaign, which is about $126,500 above what he's allowed to give. And if he does this on behalf of his client, the candidate, that is a coordinated, illegal, in-kind contribution by Cohen for the purpose of influencing the election, of benefiting the candidate by keeping this secret.
The payment Stormy Daniels received is the subject of complaints by watchdog groups to the Department of Justice and the Federal Election Commission, which Trevor Potter used to be chairman of. He's now president of the non-partisan Campaign Legal Center, which supports the enforcement of campaign finance laws.
Anderson Cooper: If the president paid Michael Cohen back, is that an in-kind campaign contribution that the president should've then reported?
Trevor Potter: It is. If he was then reimbursed by the president, that doesn't remove the fact that the initial payment violated Cohen's contribution limits. I guess it mitigates it if he's paid back by the candidate because the candidate could have paid for it without limit.
Anderson Cooper: What if the president never reimbursed Michael Cohen?
Trevor Potter: Then he is still out on the line, having made a illegal in-kind contribution to the campaign.
Anderson Cooper: You're saying this is more serious for Michael Cohen if the president did not pay him back?
Trevor Potter: Yes. I think that's correct.
We wanted to speak with Mr. Trump's attorney Michael Cohen about this, but he did not respond to our calls and written request for comment. Cohen told The New York Times last month he used his own personal funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000 to Stormy Daniels and said, "Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump Campaign reimbursed me for the payment." this past week, Cohen told Vanity Fair magazine, "What I did defensively for my personal client, and my friend, is what attorneys do for their high-profile clients. I would have done it in 2006. I would have done it in 2011. I truly care about him and the family -- more than just as an employee and an attorney."
Michael Avenatti: It's laughable. It's ludicrous. It's preposterous.
Anderson Cooper: Lawyers don't do that, you're saying. You-- you--
Michael Avenatti: Ever.
In reply to Chrissy
Potter was solid.

Watching tv this morning I can't help thinking of that hurricane that once stayed over Cuba for many days (What was its name again?).
Both morning tv news-talk shows - CNN with Chris Cuomo and Alysin, and MSNBC's Morning Joe began their day with our favourite lady and the President.
They went on for a full half hour. Their first story of the day.
And then they repeated at the beginning of the second hour!
They are saying this is the first time that Trump has remained silent for so long. 5 days now he has had no public appointments on his agenda. Many more days than that he has failed to tweet a single word about the $130,000 paid on the eve of his election campaign, or of the recipient.

https://www.thestar.com/news/world/2018/04/13/unashamed-stormy-daniels-gives-the-shameless-president-legal-and-political-problems-analysis.html
Two months after the Wall Street Journal reported that Donald Trumps lawyer had paid a porn star $130,000 to buy her silence about her 2006 sex with the future president, someone found her on Twitter and called her a scank.
The correct spelling, Stormy Daniels wrote back, is skank.
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was serving notice. She would not be handling this saga with the contrition or silence a woman in her position is expected to perform.
Assured in the spotlight, content with her sexual behaviour and unwilling to let herself be depicted either as a victim who deserves an apology or a villainous temptress who needs to make one, Daniels has departed from the path taken by most of the other Other Women in Americas political past.
To some degree, her unabashedness appears to be working. Aided by a fiery and media-savvy lawyer, Michael Avenatti, who has tantalized the public with Trump-like hints of future disclosures, Daniels has been unusually successful in shaping the arc of a story about which Trump has been uncharacteristically quiet.
The porn star, it seems, is out-shameless-ing the president who has turned shamelessness into a formidable political weapon.

Preckeh is right!
the Southern District can investigate potential Trump crimes in any area connected to Cohen, a fixer who is known to have arranged payoffs to an adult film star who says she had an affair with Trump. These prosecutors can go back as far as they want before the election, not to mention during and after it
And theres essentially nothing Trump can do about it. He cant fire the career civil servant prosecutors who are now on the job. And practically, he cant order the Southern District to stop investigating him, because such an order would likely be construed by the prosecutors there as a criminal obstruction of justice.
So ........ the cauldron is getting thicker and Stormier by the week. Stormy and Avenatti have released the sketch of the fgace of the man she says threatened her to leave #45 alone.

In what appeared to be an effort to keep her case at the center of the news after a delay in a related case in California, Daniels' lawyer, Michael Avenatti, filed a new lawsuit on Daniels' behalf on Monday. Ultimately, he is going to be forced to resign, said Michael Avenatti, the attorney for the adult film actor who says she had an affair with Donald Trump and was paid by Trumps lawyer, Michael Cohen, to keep it quiet.
I dont know how he will ultimately spin his departure, but I firmly believe there is going to be too much evidence of wrongdoing by him and those around him for him to be able to survive the balance of his term.
Avenatti spoke to the Guardian in New York on Friday. He is convinced Trump will not be impeached but will find himself unable to stay in his job before his term ends in January 2021.
We have only scratched the surface in this case, Avenatti said. Not only do I think that, I know that. There is going to be a significant amount of evidence thats going to come to light, and when that evidence is presented, and when the American people learn of it, they are going to be disgusted by the conduct of Mr Trump and Mr Cohen, and that serious consequences will result.

Then, when shes asked, And the penis wasnt big? Daniels offers, Yeah. Further asked to compare his penis size to his fingers, Daniels says, I dont want to shame anybody, and leaves it at that.
In one exchange, Daniels says she feels sorry for Michael Cohen, the longtime Trump attorney/fixer shes currently suing for defamation, expressing sympathy for how inept he appears to be during this process. The disclosure, released by the Office of Government Ethics, did not specify the purpose of the payment. However, Cohen has paid $130,000 to adult film actress Stephanie Clifford, who has said she had an affair with Trump. Cohen has said he made the payment shortly before the 2016 election as hush money for Clifford, who goes by the stage name Stormy Daniels.
Trump repaid Cohen between $100,001 and $250,000 in 2017, according to a footnote in the filing, but he did not include that information on last years financial disclosure form.

Interesting...
I wonder what this means:
//
A US bankruptcy court judge on Tuesday ordered the law firm of Stormy Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti to pay a $10 million judgment to an attorney who once worked for the firm, according to court documents.
The judgment comes after Avenatti's firm, Eagan Avenatti LLP, failed to make the first payment on a $4.85 million settlement with lawyer Jason Frank, a one-time partner at the firm. During Tuesday's hearing, a lawyer for the federal government also said Avenatti's firm failed to make a payment for back taxes that was due last week.
Avenatti is the managing partner of Eagan Avenatti, according to court documents.

Stormy Daniels has a new voice in her corner, backing up one of the central claims she's made about her alleged affair with President Donald Trump.
Fellow adult film star Jessica Drake corroborated Daniels' story of being threatened over the alleged relationship, publicly stating that Daniels told her about the incident back in 2011, years prior to the start of Trump's political career.

The governments top ethics officer told the Justice Department that President Donald Trump should have disclosed last year that he reimbursed his longtime personal attorney for a hush money payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
The letter from David Apol, the acting director of the Office of Government Ethics, came as that office also released Trumps most recent financial disclosure form, a 92-page document that included the reimbursement to attorney Michael Cohen as a footnote.

Stormy Daniels' lawyer Michael Avenatti
The lawyer, who is also representing adult film star Stormy Daniels in her case against President Donald Trump, shared the news with his 562,000 Twitter followers Thursday morning.
According to Avenatti, these clients will be able to share illicit information about what is "really going on" when it comes to the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" immigration policy.
Avenatti also said that he is going to take this information and deliver it straight to the American people so that they "can decide what happens next."

Stormy Daniels calls her former lawyer a Trump puppet
The adult-film actress Stormy Daniels .... accused her former attorney Keith Davidson of colluding with President Donald Trumps onetime lawyer and fixer, calling Davidson a puppet for Trump who hatched a plan to put a lid on reports of his infidelities.
Daniels made the complaint in a lawsuit filed .... in Los Angeles Superior Court in which she demanded copies of communication between Davidson and Trumps former lawyer, Michael Cohen. The two men, one working for Trump, one for Daniels, negotiated a deal that paid her $130,000 just days before the 2016 election in exchange for her silence about an alleged relationship with Trump a decade earlier.

CNN - Prosecutors back down...
In a tweet late Sunday, attorney Michael Avenatti said prosecutors were canceling their meeting with the adult film actress Stormy Daniels because of media attention.
"So I was just informed by the US Attys office that they are cancelling the mtg tmrw scheduled with me and my client (for weeks) because the press found out about the mtg and they can't handle a few cameras outside their offices," he said.
//
Michael Avenatti, the attorney for the adult film actress Stormy Daniels, is fighting an effort to bring a court-ordered end to his near-continuous media appearances, but is also telling a federal judge that if a gag order is issued, it should cover another frequent tweeter and TV presence: President Donald Trump.
Earlier this month, a lawyer for Trumps longtime personal attorney and fixer, Michael Cohen, sought to shut down Avenattis public commentary about a suit Daniels filed trying to invalidate a hush money deal that Cohen arranged. That deal paid the adult film star $130,000 just prior to the 2016 presidential election in order to keep a damper on her story alleging a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006.
Trumps attorney didnt join in the gag order request, but indicated that he would not oppose it. However, Avenatti said that if the judge went forward, any gag order would have to cover Trump and his primary legal mouthpiece, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
The order must go both ways by extending to all parties
and all counsel (whether of record in this matter or otherwise), Avenatti wrote in a filing Monday. Any other gag order imposed in the case would be manifestly one-sided and unjust, especially in light of the insults and attacks made against Daniels, he added.

Check out Pondie's post about the Donald and Ms. Stormy.
"Hilarious," Chrissy says.
Heh heh....
Cohen made payments to Stormy Daniels to keep her quiet about their affair. Danielss lawyer, Michael Avenatti, has produced documents proving that she sent her payment to Cohen at his Trump Tower location, and that Cohen communicated through his official Trump Organization email. That means Cohen was acting on Trumps behalf. And if the payment was intended to help Trumps campaign, it constitutes an illegal campaign donation.
Asked if Trump directed the payment, Cohen tells ABC, I want to answer. One day I will answer, Cohen said. But for now, I cant comment further on advice of my counsel.
Lets mark that down as a tentative yes.
What other crimes may Cohen have committed on Trumps behalf in the Stormy Daniels case? The Washington Post has reported that, in addition to campaign finance violations, Cohen is being investigated for bank fraud and wire fraud. Daniels has also reported being approached and threatened by a strange man not Cohen, but quite possibly sent by Cohen, who styles himself as quite the goon.

Attorney Michael Avenatti, who represents pornographic actor Stormy Daniels in her ongoing legal dispute with Donald Trump, said in a tweet on Wednesday that he would consider running against the president in the 2020 election.
IF (big) he seeks re-election, I will run, but only if I think that there is no other candidate in the race that has a REAL chance at beating him. We cant relive 2016. I love this country, our values and our people too much to sit by while they are destroyed, Avenatti tweeted on the Independence Day holiday.
During a CNN appearance later in the day Avenatti stood by his tweet, saying he had three things that he believes Trump lacks: brains, heart, and courage.
The veteran litigator has become one of the loudest and most biting public critics of Trump ever since his client Daniels went public in March with claims that she and Trump had engaged in a sexual affair over a decade ago while Melania Trump was pregnant with the couples son.

Stormy Daniels rolls into Allentown
Politics and pleasure collided at Platinum Plus in Allentown on Sunday night. Patrons seated on plush gray chairs cheered as flashing lights, sirens and the sound of thunder ushered Stormy Daniels, the adult film actress who alleges she had an affair with President Donald Trump, up the steps to the stage.
They watched mesmerized as she skipped across the platform in her trademark Little Red Riding Hood cloak at the start of the show, leaning progressively forward as she peeled off layers of clothes and added one layer of oil.
It wasnt a typical Sunday at the club, where at least 200 people watched Daniels first of two shows. Instead, it was the epitome of this bawdy era of national affairs, a raucous but lucid display of resistance from Daniels and her supporters in the crowd.
I believe her, Sigrid Hurdle said of Daniels contention about the affair. I believe her story. Its kind of like Im showing support to her.

And now, from Rolling Stone Magazine:
Emails sent by a Columbus Police Department vice officer who was involved in arresting Stormy Daniels (born Stephanie Clifford) earlier this month suggest the adult film star was targeted in advance, according to a new report from CNN.
The emails, which CNN obtained through a public records request, show that two days before the July 12th arrest, Officer Shana Keckley sent herself pictures and a video of Daniels, as well as a map to the strip club where Daniels was scheduled to perform. This would contradict an earlier statement made by Columbus PD that Daniels just happened to be caught up in a sting operation connected to a long-term investigation into allegations of human trafficking, prostitution, & other vice related violations.
And then Keckly boasted about it...
//
A federal judge said on Friday he is unlikely to issue a gag order stopping a lawyer for adult film star Stormy Daniels discussing her lawsuit against Donald Trump with reporters and the public.
US district judge James Otero made the comment in a hearing held a day after the attorney, Michael Avenatti, said he now represents three more women who claim to have had relationships with Trump and to have been paid hush money before the 2016 presidential election.

A news report from Bloomberg today says movie actress Stephanie Clifford won a small but important legal ruling that may expedite her lawsuit alleging that her ex-lawyer colluded with Donald Trumps longtime attorney Michael Cohen.
In a suit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court in June, Clifford, whos known professionally as Stormy Daniels, alleged her former lawyer Keith Davidson abdicated his role as an advocate for her and instead elected to be a puppet for Mr. Cohen and Mr. Trump.
In 2016, Davidson negotiated Danielss $130,000 hush payment from Cohen not to discuss her alleged tryst with Trump a decade earlier. Cohen, who was also named as a defendant, got the case transferred to federal court in July.
In granting Cliffords request to move the case back to state court, U.S. District Judge James Otero said in an order late Thursday there had been clear gamesmanship in moving the suit to federal court in an attempt to gain a legal advantage.

Lawyers for President Donald Trump and adult film actress Stormy Daniels agreed to move her libel case against the president to a Los Angeles courtroom, according to court documents released Wednesday.
Daniels brought the defamation suit against the president in April in New York, alleging he used Twitter to undermine her claim that a man threatened her to keep quiet about a past romantic relationship with Trump. The president denies he was involved with Daniels.
Daniels lawyer, Michael Avenatti, said moving the lawsuit to the West Coast will speed up the legal process.

Michael Avenatti, fresh off his declaration that he may run for president in 2020, used his first big speech as a prospective candidate to call on the Democratic Party to reject Michelle Obamas oft-quoted advice about President Trump and his allies: When they go low, we go high.
Mr. Avenatti, the hard-charging lawyer who represents the pornographic film star Stephanie Clifford, known as Stormy Daniels, did not once mention the former first lady in his keynote speech Friday night at the Democratic Wing Ding, a party fund-raiser in northern Iowa. But there was no mistaking his meaning.
We must be a party that fights fire with fire, Mr. Avenatti said to cheers from the audience, his voice rising. When they go low, I say hit back harder.
He received a thunderous ovation at the end of his speech, notably louder than the applause for the nights other speakers, including Representative Tim Ryan of Ohio as well as Representative John Delaney of Maryland, who is running for president.
According to the Wall Street Journal and CNN, Michael Cohen informed a representative for Stormy Daniels he was willing to strike a deal to buy her silence only after the release of the now-infamous "Access Hollywood" recording where President Spanky can be heard talking about grabbing women without their consent.
The WSJ reported that Cohen indicated during that conversation that "he was open to a deal," despite having "initially balked at the idea."
The same source told the Journal that Cohen "resisted" making a payment to Daniels when the idea was proposed in September 2016.

Let us give thanks to Ms. Stormy. She is the um... straw that spanked this camel's back with a magazine.
A real trooper she is.
Consider this (which is not music to his deplorables' ears:
A key point to bear in mind following yesterday's trial is this:
a) This trial is over
b) Trump's attorney pleaded guilty and implicated Trump
c) (and this is the point) By pleading guilty, Cohen is admitting not only his guilty pleas but also all the evidence that the prosecutors amassed against him. This includes his tapes, documents and everything they gained from interviews and interrogations.
Spanky's corner well dark. Thanks to Ms. Stormy who could well turn out to be the saviour of the tottering American constitution.

Stormy Daniels weighed in after Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to criminal charges related to a hush money payoff to the porn star, tweeting: How ya like me now?!
Hours after President Donald Trumps former lawyer Cohen pleaded guilty in a New York court to eight criminal counts including tax evasion, bank fraud and campaign finance violations, Daniels sent the gloating tweet with the hashtag teamstormy.
The adult actresss attorney, Michael Avenatti, said that the guilty plea would bolster her civil suit against Cohen - and claimed that he would now be able to force Mr Trump to give a sworn deposition in the suit.

You rock, girl!
//
From Kelly Macias, Daily Kos:
Its not okay to dismiss Stormy Daniels as unimportant or irrelevant because of what she does for a living.
She is an adult woman with full autonomy who gets to decide what she wants to do for a career. She is unapologetic about her choices. However one may feel about it, her job is not illegal and is actually part of a multi-billion dollar industry. And while our society takes a kind of sick pride in shaming the women who participate in it, we also completely ignore that men also perform in the industry, are the main consumers of it, and are the ones who profit from it.
But all of these protestations from Trump and Guiliani about Daniels being just a porn star are especially disingenuous when we know that Trump entered into a consensual relationship with her.
No one forced him to do so. He arranged clandestine meetings with her, slept with her while he was married, paid her off, and made her sign a contract that said she would never talk about it.
So whos the party here that shouldnt be respected or trusted? Hint: its not the porn star.

Stormy Daniels, Feminist Hero
For once were listening to a woman who refuses to wear either a scarlet letter or a superwomans cape.
By Jill Filipovic - New York Times
Aug. 24, 2018
On Tuesday, Michael D. Cohen pleaded guilty to breaking campaign finance laws, charges stemming from payments he made to two women, one of them Ms. Daniels, with whom Donald Trump is said to have had an affair. Mr. Cohen, a former lawyer for Mr. Trump, says he made the payments at the direction of the president, in an effort to influence the 2016 election.
Its an extraordinary admission, and an extraordinary political moment not just because of what it means for Mr. Trump. It marks an unanticipated feminist turning point. Ms. Daniels is an adult film star and, like the president, an unapologetic self-promoter. Hers is not a female archetype that has historically garnered much respect, trust or sympathy. Yet here she is, an imperfect, entirely self-possessed woman telling her story with clarity and without shame. And here we are, actually listening to her.
Mr. Trumps own incompetence, inexperience and misogyny didnt stop his ascent to the White House; neither could a woman who spent her life cultivating capability, expertise and political pedigree. The usual rules dont seem to apply to Mr. Trump. And under the usual rules, a woman who so thoroughly breaks norms of female decorum and political propriety would be shamed into silence.
Which is why there is so much power in the fact that Ms. Daniels does not believe her job or her involvement with Mr. Trump or the payoff is her shame to carry. She wants him held accountable, and the justice system is actually stepping in. She is refusing to slink away, despite being paid to do exactly that in a pattern weve seen too many times from influential men seeking to maintain their dominance and avoid responsibility.

Stormy Daniels: Generous to say Trump lasted two minutes
Vogue reporter Amy Chozick spent time with Daniels and Avenatti over the summer, describing Daniels as blunt, foulmouthed, funny.
Its apparent from the profile. In one exchange, Chozick asked Daniels to describe her alleged 2006 affair with the President, which he continues to deny.
How many details can you really give about two minutes? she deadpanned. When the reporter pressed for details, Daniels quipped, Maybe. Im being generous.

Stormy Daniels' tell-all book on Trump: salacious detail and claims of cheating
Exclusive: pornographic actor says Trump didnt want to be President in her book Full Disclosure
In a tell-all memoir, the pornographic actor Stormy Daniels details salacious descriptions of her time with Donald Trump, wonders if he is fit to be president and claims he offered to cheat for her in his reality TV show.
A copy of the book, Full Disclosure, was obtained by the Guardian. In it, Daniels describes her mounting disbelief as Trump began to win primary contests in 2016 for the Republican presidential nomination. Former castmates who she had not heard from in years, but who had heard her story about sleeping with Trump in 2006, would call her up to marvel at the news.
It will never happen, I would say, Daniels writes. He doesnt even want to be president.
But as Trump kept winning, Daniels writes, she began to think she might be in danger. The story she had to tell about Trump seemed more sensitive the more he won. And she had already been threatened once, years earlier, and warned never to tell the story about Trump, she has claimed.

Trump directed Cohen to seek restraining order against Stormy Daniels
Washington (CNN) President Donald Trump was personally involved in an effort to prevent adult film actress Stormy Daniels from publicly discussing an alleged sexual encounter with him, a source with direct knowledge of the matter told CNN.
The President told his then personal attorney Michael Cohen in a February phone call to seek a restraining order against Daniels over concerns that she was contemplating a media interview, the source said.
"Don't worry, I'll pay for everything," Trump told Cohen, according to the source. The conversation happened months after Daniels had signed a hush agreement to stay quiet about the alleged affair.
The Wall Street Journal first reported Trump's involvement.
The source said the President's son, Eric Trump, became involved and that a California-based Trump Organization lawyer, Jill Martin, was directed to sign the arbitration document. Martin sought Eric Trump's advice when the media eventually posed questions to her about her involvement, the source added. Martin told the media that she worked on the arbitration in her "individual capacity."

And now, from Down Under:
STORMY Daniels has revealed she regrets likening Donald Trumps manhood to a mushroom after her description sparked ridicule and went viral. In a surprise U-turn, Ms Daniels told 60 Minutes on Sunday night she thinks her now infamous Mario Kart comparison was a step too far.
So I was very angry in writing that, she told Channel 9 journalist Liz Hayes. And now that the book is out and people are reading about it, and its all over the internet I actually feel pretty terrible about it
in a way its body shaming.
Did you want to humiliate him? Hayes asked.
No. Absolutely not, which is why I feel a little conflicted about the book, Ms Daniels answered. I did not want to hurt him. My intention was for people to stop hurting me.
Ms Daniels said she wasnt going to stop speaking out about Trump because he needs to be held accountable.
Do you think youve got the President of the US running scared? Hayes said.
Hes not smart enough to run scared, Ms Daniels replied.
What is he? Hayes asked.
An egotistical lunatic at this point, the adult film star retorted.
I was called a liar, she said. Unless hes had a penis transplant, then Im pretty sure thats a checkmate.

From The Independent:
Stormy Daniels has said she forgives Michael Cohen for his involvement in an attempt to silence her during the 2016 election about her alleged affair with Donald Trump.
The adult film actress, who sued the president over a hush money agreement she signed before he ascended to the Oval Office, said she had a change of heart towards his longtime personal lawyer after Mr Cohen pleaded guilty in August to eight counts of campaign finance violations, tax fraud and bank fraud.
I definitely think that I had a lot of ill will for him towards him, she said Monday night, speaking with CNN's Don Lemon.
In the end, you know, he kinda did the right thing. He admitted that I wasn't lying and that Trump had ordered him to do this. So in a way I guess I forgive him.

Fueled by feud with Trump, Stormy Daniels has come a long way from Baton Rouge days
She moves in such rarefied circles that she has just beaten President Donald Trump hands down at his own game, the put-down tweet. Stephanie Clifford sure has come a long way since she graduated from Scotlandville Magnet High School in 1997.
When Clifford found her vocation, she adopted a stage name in honor of Tennessee sour mash whiskey to become Stormy Daniels. Jack Daniel's became her inspiration when she saw an advertisement that declared it a Southern favorite, which was just what she hoped to be.
She evidently did manage to become, if not the South's favorite trollop, at least a fairly popular one. She will not mind being called that. When someone tweeted her that Dumb whores go to hell, her response was that she is a smart one.
She was making a decent living OK, an indecent living when Trump won the election. That turned out to be her lucky day. She and her attorney, Michael Avenatti, have continued to whip up the publicity that is pure gold in Daniels' line of work, and could hardly have wished for a more effective foil than Trump.

We missed this CNN story from December 3:
Extracts - Attorney Michael Avenatti was back in court Monday December 3 after a tumultuous month for two separate suits brought on behalf of his most famous client, adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
On Monday morning, the California-based lawyer first appeared in a Los Angeles County Superior Court as part of a lawsuit brought against Daniels' former lawyer Keith Davidson and Michael Cohen, who negotiated her now-infamous nondisclosure agreement about an affair she claims to have had with President Donald Trump in 2006.
Monday afternoon, Avenatti faced off in another case on behalf of Daniels, this time in federal court. That hearing was about how much Daniels owes Trump in legal fees in her dismissed defamation lawsuit against the President.
The judge in the afternoon case did not release a decision but said he would take under advisement a request from Trump's attorney Charles Harder for nearly $780,000 -- half in legal fees and half in sanctions.
Avenatti called the request "an attempt to put my client under Donald Trump's thumb," while Harder called the hearing "a total victory for the President," despite Judge James Otero not releasing a decision.
Harder told the court he charges $841.61 an hour, with the four other attorneys on the case making anywhere from $756.49 to $307.60.
"The number of hours seems excessive, hourly rates not so much," Otero said.

Stormy Daniels sues police for $2m over strip club arrest - Associated Press
Heh heh heh
She was just about to "retire" from this thread...
Stormy Daniels has sued several Columbus police officers for $2m over her arrest at a strip club in July 2018, an incident that sparked criticism of the law used to arrest her and led to other lawsuits against the city.
Danielss federal defamation lawsuit alleges officers conspired to retaliate against the adult film actor because of her claims she had sex with Donald Trump before he became president. Daniels... was arrested in Ohio in July on suspicion of inappropriately touching a female undercover officer. Two club employees also were arrested.
Prosecutors dropped charges against Daniels hours later, saying the law cited in her arrest applied only to those who regularly performed at the club.
The four officers named in the lawsuit were Trump supporters who saw an opportunity to defame Daniels after they learned she planned to perform at Sirens mens club, according to the lawsuit, filed by Daniels attorney, Michael Avenatti.
The officers believed that Ms Clifford was damaging President Trump and they thereafter entered into a conspiracy to arrest her during her performance in Columbus in retaliation for the public statements she had made regarding President Trump, the lawsuit alleges.
They also believed arresting Daniels would damage her credibility in any future remarks she made about the president, the lawsuit said.
