But you've played the game in such good spirit Darren !
Personal abuse directed by Newlands spectators at the Australian side during the third Test has been labelled "disgraceful" by the coach Darren Lehmann, with Cricket Australia making a written complaint to Cricket South Africa about taunts largely directed at the partners and families of Steven Smith's team.
David Warner's post-dismissal exchange with a spectator on day two was the visible tip of an iceberg's worth of abuse over the first two days of the match, with nine spectators ejected on day two, after three had been blocked from entry on day one for wearing offensive t-shirts on the opening day. None of the ejected spectators have been banned from returning later in the match.
Lehmann said the abuse, typically directed at the nearest Australian fielder to the boundary when the South African side was batting on days one and two, was the worst his team had witnessed anywhere in the world. "We accept it all around the world, but as soon as they cross the line and they talk about players' families the whole time and getting abused like that, it's just not on," Lehmann said. "There's been various incidents throughout the Test series but this one has taken the cake.

Was this you dj
"Australia's vice-captain David Warner was involved in a heated exchange with a spectator as he walked off the ground after his dismissal by Kagiso Rabada on day two of the third Test in Cape Town....Warner's exchange was less violent but more prolonged, immediately after he had lost a gladiatorial bout with Rabada. Bowled by Rabada after a frenetic innings of 30 from 14 balls in which he struck the Proteas spearhead for 4-4-4-6-4 in the five balls before his dismissal, Warner found the middle-aged male spectator waiting for him as he commenced his walk from the boundary to the Australian dressing room, greeting him with sarcastic applause and plenty of words. As the verbal barbs continued, Warner stopped to respond to the spectator, who was seated in the Members enclosure of the Western Province Cricket Club, before a security guard moved to intervene....Between first two Test matches, offensive masks were distributed by fans in reference to her brief bathroom encounter with the rugby league player Sonny Bill Williams years before she and Warner became a couple."
I feel so sorry fer dem Ozzies
Ah tell ya ah could cry......
Would have been interesting if Warner went full Eric Cantona on a spectator.
For some reason though, Aussie cricketers past and present don't seem to recognize their actions might cause resentment from opposing players and fans.

First, let me say..."beef nah gat bone dag nah business"... But when Stuart Broad was given not-out after he edged the ball to the keeper and didn't walk, in one of the ashes awhile back, wasn't that same Lehmann said he will tell the Ausies crowd to give it to him? Even the Ausie coms said the crowd had cross the line, what they were involved in was abuse. Don't know why they now complaining and crying.

If you live in a glass house don't throw stones. If your wife candice has such a colourful history then be quiet and tone down on the abuse on the field. If you can't take it don't dish it out.
Considering the racist abuse the west indies used to suffer at the hands of Australia fans in the 1970s it's hard to feel sorry for them right now.

The only reaction from the South African camp so far was fast bowler Morne Morkel urging fans not to "get out line," but Smith and Boucher have taken on Lehmann, effectively saying Australian crowds were the same, if not worse.
"Correct Darren! Fully agree! But... start cleaning up in your own country first! The personal, racial abuse I've witnessed in Aus was ridiculous. U guys don't live in a glass house! Why the fuss all of a sudden? Seems fine when the shoe is on the other foot," Boucher tweeted in response to a clip of Lehmann posted by cricket.com.au, an account run by Cricket Australia.
Smith responded to Boucher, pointing to the Australia team as a whole. He tweeted: "Absolutely right, and I don't condone any of it But blimey I have never seen an Aussie team whinge and whine like this!"

Mike,
The problem is the Aussie believe they own the right to determine what is acceptable sledging- so for them, if the opposition talks "about their family." that is a no no and they believe they have the right to condemn this action.
However, with their style of sledging, they see no wrong.

It have some people with that same attitude on this message board...
Looks like Bancroft was polishing the ball with a yellow object that he stuffed back into his briefs.
Methinks the umpires should go and send Candice to the boys facilities to confirm the object in question.
Cheat skunt hypocrite Lehmann
Dem Aussie CHEATS deserve all the abuse they get! Facking CRIMINALS!
Bancroft the biggest dumbass bogan to come out of the Aussie side since Warner
