I do not see this team challenging India

If you had 6 Trini's I would make the same remark.

CWI doesn't have the calibre of players needed at this level.

Plus the players that CWI gats are too erratic for 5 day
cricket. Somehow fans see spurts of inconsistency and start praising about turning the corner.

Even in the shorter form of the game, we are varying
on occasions.

For over the past two decades we have seen players with
potential show spurts of brilliance later to be cast aside.

Give it another two years and the bright ones with amplitude today
will be shown the revolving door.

It matters not with country in the Caribbean such talent comes from, CWI doesn't have the ability to turn such diamonds in the rough into world class players. They end up as charcoal.

Over two decades of being in the doldrums and no end in sight tells it all.



T&T players it seems have given up the longer format of the game.Some expressed interest but were never selected.

If you compare the runs column only, WI came back strong in the second innings after conceding some lead in the first innings. It's even stevens i.e India lead in 1st innings while WI scored more (than India) in the 2nd innings..

We (Southeasterners) only lost the 2nd test by 10 wickets.

When compared to the innings plus loss in the first test, our performance have improved if only marginally.
