Assuming Stuart Law had final say on the playing eleven, he then has much to account for after his abysmal decision-making throughout the Test series. First off, there was the decision to play three seamers and a solitary spinner on a wicket that was admittedly, deceptively grassy. However, there were visible cracks in the pitch on the first morning. A fit Kemar Roach was then made to sit out a must-win, while an unnecessary extra batsman was employed by the visitors.

All things being equal, West Indies is a balanced unit with five bowlers, the proportion of spin to seam being relevant to conditions. If one is fully aware of this principle, yet still reverts to unsuccessful methods, it is then safe to say learning has not taken place; therefore, progress cannot occur. At this point, when Windies has what can be labelled as a ‘balanced’ bowling attack, the team NEEDS a more perceptive coach, one to lead this attempt of transformation from the front.

With the visible difference in Indian spinner, Kuldeep Yadav’s action when bowling his stock delivery versus the googly, and the Caribbean men’s lack of competency against him, it was called into question the work being done behind the scenes with and by Windies batsmen. Being the number eight ranked team of ten nations, seven of the nine teams the Caribbean team will face will be ranked above them. Therefore, Windies must aim to become a detail-oriented batting line-up; arming themselves with all the information privy to them on opposition bowlers through the use of technology.

While selection is not the only problem plaguing the WI test team, it contributed tremendously to fielding our most efficient and productive team when handpicks are selected over more productive players.

Mark my words, West Indies TEST cricket will soon be extinct.

Quite frankly many People in the
Region are living in a Fantasy World .
They seem unable to see the Truth ,
that is slapping them every freaking
day .

THE STARK UNVARNISHED TRUTH IS THAT

HAVE FAILED WEST INDIES CRICKET .


EGGED ON AND SUPPORTED BY MOST

PERSONS IN THE REGION WHO ARE THE

LACKEYS OF THOSE IN THE GOVERNANCE

OF WEST INDIES CRICKET .


Change will only come if there is
a complete Restructuring of Cricket
in the Region . Because of its dictatorial governance of West Indies Cricket .

Perhaps those in the Governance of
Cricket in the Region need to be Supervised .

IT IS WICBC/CWI THAT COMMISSIONED

SEVERAL REPORTS AND THEN SWIFTLY

DISCARDED THOSE REPORTS .

Unfortunately I have yet to hear or read any of those who in the Region who profess to be Sports Journalists
ask about the much heralded ,
WEHBY REPORT .

Perhaps the usual Sports Personalities in the Media may have
spoken about the WEHBY REPORT , and it escaped my attention . If that is
the case I would like to know .

The WICBC/CWI is notorious for commissioning Reports and then nothing happens . This is the Entity
that most if not all of the Sports Media fawn over , despite its dismal performances .

Currently I get the impression that
the failures of Our Teams in the
International Cricket Arena is totally due to the failings of Our
Players .

Meanwhile the WICBC/CWI , the Masters of Disasters remain unscathed of any criticism regarding
the State of Cricket in the Region .

It is high time that those who profess to be Sports Journalists cut their Alliance with the Worst International Cricket Board in the
Commonwealth , and Speak & write the
Truth regarding Cricket in the Region .

Not only would they be doing a Service to the Region , they will also find it Liberating , to stop being the Lackeys of the WICBC.CWI .

I have the feeling that Test cricket would eventually die in the WI and for the team, only teams like Afgan, Zimbabwe and Ireland might want to play the WI in the future in order to build up their records.
