Given that this is the women's t20s championships surely the dancers should be men and not women.

Someone needs to tell these Aussie commentators that the last syllable of these Portuguese names is there to be pronounced.

Henriques
Rodriguez

It's not. ...

Henreeks
Rodreegs

mikesiva 2018-11-09 11:23:04

Rodrigues out for a well-played 59 from 44....

Kaur gets her century! Out for 103 from 51....

India 194-5

Tahuhu 2-18

Ridge 2018-11-09 11:49:28

She looks more accomplished than any of the West Indies men
playing currently

Kaur is a class player. Karen Rolton would have been a smash hit in these T20

Pakistan 133-7

Pakistan docked five runs for running on the pitch. Make that 10 runs....

Maroof and Dar hit half-centuries.

India dropped some dollies in that innings.

Poonam 2-22

Narper 2018-11-14 18:37:29

S.Taylor: We were planning to bowl as well. The break allowed us to reflect, particularly the batsmen who didn't put enough on the board. The bowlers were really good but the batters need to put more runs on the board. Natasha is a real talent and we want to use her in the middle order. We were under the pump, having not started well with the bat but we responded well. The bowlers stepped up.

Taylor to du Preez, out Caught by McLean! That's full and on the stumps, the batsman shimmies down and chips it straight to the long-on fielder to hand her a simple catch. Poor shot by du Preez, and the Proteas slide further.

du Preez c McLean b Taylor 7(7)

South Africa Women need 37 runs in 26 balls

16.5
Taylor to Tryon, out Bowled! Timber and red lights! The off-break just outside off, Tryon comes down the track and tries to sweep it away, the ball stays very low and slides under the bat to crash into the stumps. Disappointment for Tryon and South Africa - they're tumbling down to the foot of the mountain.

Tryon b Taylor 6(7) [4s-1]

Taylor to Ismail, out Caught by Hayley Matthews! Another one! That's tossed up wide outside off, room to free the arms, flat-bats it straight to Matthews at short cover and Ismail has to walk back to the hut, disappointed.

Tayla Vlaeminck to Mandhana, FOUR, cracker of a shot! She loves that zone, square of the wicket on the off-side, like most southpaws do. Backed away just a tad and got the width that she desired, her hands did the rest as she flayed it behind point. Raced away to the fence in a flash

india 33-1

FOUR, finesse from Mandhana! The last stroke was about power, this was just deft touch. Expected the flatter trajectory and was ready for the late cut. Played it at the last moment to get it away fine and short third man had no chance
lol
