Dani Hazell back on
Delicately poised, this. Dottin the kingpin as far as Windies are concerned, and only one over of Shrubsole for England to call on... But the rate is above a run a ball
Hazell to Dottin, SIX runs, she goes again, smoked into the boards at deep midwicket! That's her shot, tossed up and she just mullers it with the spin, to the delight of the crowd
"Both teams trying their best to save a face-off against Australia in the semis!" hoots Bush. I dunno, I think West Indies might know what they're doing

huge appeal for a stumping, had Campbelle stepped out of her ground...? They send it upstairs

Umpire has gone upstairs for stumping review. Jones looks confident. Her feet was outside the crease but Campbelle did really well to get it back. Not-Out is the decision.

Kirstie Gordon to Campbelle, SIX, clean strike by Campbelle! She uses her feet to come close to the ball and takes the aerial route over the bowler's head. The connection was clean and it clears the ropes easily
Dani Hazell back on, five overs to go. West Indies need 7.40 an over

Hazell to Campbelle, FOUR, to long on
this has gone right through her hand. Poor bit of fielding at long-on. Campbelle is playing a gem of an innings. Again, comes down the track and powers it down the ground
WIW 102/4 (18.0 Ovs) CRR: 5.67 REQ: 7
Windies Women need 14 runs in 12 balls
18.1
Sciver to Britney Cooper, FOUR, edged and four. Useful boundary. Outside edge, a kind one
Windies Women need 10 runs in 10 balls
18.3
Sciver to Britney Cooper, 1 run, on a fuller length and on the stumps, Britney Cooper nudges it to the leg-side and fielder there smashes Campbelle with the throw. She has gone down straightaway, looks in pain. It might have hit her on that funny bone. Physio is out and she seems fine now
Not taken
18.4
Sciver to Campbelle, 2 runs, it went up into stratosphere, long long way up in the night skies
Dropped and then run out !!!

Sciver to Britney Cooper, out Britney Cooper Run Out!! 1 run completed
Britney Cooper run out (Winfield) 7(6) [4s-1]
Sciver to Campbelle, 2 runs, dropped! Skied into the inky blackness, but Dunkley butchers the chance at mid-off! More drama here, she completely overran it, the ball landing a yard or two behind her as she threw her arms back in despair!
Sciver to Cooper, 1 run, OUT, dropped... but the direct hit runs out Cooper!
B Cooper run out (Winfield) 7 (6b 1x4 0x6) SR: 116.66

Shrubsole to Kycia A Knight, FOUR runs, full outside off, sliced through point for four! That'll do it, the crowd erupts as the confirmation of victory for the home side - West Indies win by four wickets and will face Australia in the semi-final in Antigua!
In comes Kycia Knight, still West Indies' to lose
Good game
Both teams fought well, few shakey moments
Watch out Australia

Get ready Narps with the wagon
No sense that these sides were going through the motions, both having already qualified. West Indies were brilliant in the field, England less so, and that was probably the difference between the sides. Anya Shrubsole was brilliant with the new ball, but in the end a pair of 40s from Deandra Dottin and Shemaine Campbelle were enough to see West Indies home.
In reply to Narper
Passion, that what is in these women.
In reply to openning
Look at the ambassadors they have around them.
Just to have them in the dressing room without speaking
it would motivate these women.
Could one imagine a Viv, Shiv showing you a few tips on batting? Or telling you signs to look for when they are bowling at you. These ladies will never forget such moments.
In reply to sgtdjones
Excellent stuff in the dressing room as reported and on the field a few shaky moments from both teams
