Bishoo is the reason

WI are not winning matches because they keep playing Bishoo.

He made a first ball duck and is doing jack with the ball.

Drop he rass now! big grin

Daren Ganga said something like that while commentating - "Bowlers like Bishoo are expected to come on and take wickets, but they don't".

If it’s a choice between him and Nurse, it’s Bishoo every time.

He is a senior bowler now... He been playing International cricket for 7-8 years and is 33 years...

At this time he should be leading the attack but he has been disappointing in Spin Friendly conditions... When you see all the spinners, including newbies from India and Bangladesh do well you would expect Bishoo to do better.

While we might not have better spinners, I think it would be better to try Cornwalls and Fabien Allen's who might not be so bad in ODI compared to Bishoo

At least Cornwall and Allen can hold a bat too. Or even try Hemraj - I've seen him bowl some decent slow left armers.

The experts said it and we have seen it: The lack of a wicket taking/containing spinner has WI without one of the main weapons in ODI cricket.

It is not Bishoo.
It is not Nurse.

Selectors tried with Pierre vs India and then quickly dumped him. Against India? STEWWPSE

Akeem Jordan,Ottley and Cornwall lit up the Super 50 and here was a chance to experiment with these guys.OR pick from Chase Cornwall,Allen and a specialist spinner.

On another note Nurse's value as a powerhitter was also missing here...that and his occassional good spell is what keeps him in the mix.

Lara sees Nurse as one of the assured picks in the ODi set up.

I had my say on Bishoo before. He is one cricketer in WI team I think is not delivering. I am disappointed in his contribution

I agree that he not delivering....but he is one that is not delivering??? what the heck you been looking at???

The various WI captains never have a plan for Bishoo, and Bishoo hardly ever sets his own field. So, Bishoo and just about every other WI spinner, will fail most of the time.

Strange enough, the only halfway decent WI captain around is JHolder. When he treats Bishoo fairly, Bishoo tends to be successful.

Bishoo is a TERRIBLE bowler, no more, no less. As i said in an earlier post, he has not learnt or worked on his game at all which is surprising coming from the place that produced Dr. Shiv Chanderpaul, who adapted well to all conditions. Fact is the man have one ball and he's cannon fodder. In fact if i was to be petty, i would say the only reason bishoo ever got to any prominence was because TT in the ct20 in 2010 underestimated him and went to play themselves in West Mall because they thought the semi final would be postponed because of rain
