I don't think Roach has regressed, the shoulder injuries mean he's not an express pacer anymore, he's probably more suited to tests, but the pitches in England will suit him better than the Bangladeshi pitches do.

I think Roach, at nest, is a third seamer. Nothing more than that.
Even in tests, he's fairly innocuous.
I want him to get to 200 wickets in tests, he's around 170 now, and then he needs to make way.
Unless he can master swing like Anderson and broad, who bowl around a similar pace.

Make way for who? If the others were better than him, then Roach wouldn't be selected.
He's done fantastic to come back from the injuries he had, working with Collymore has been a good move as he also came back from injury.

He doesn't look like getting a wicket anymore.
Joseph, Gabriel, Thomas, Holder, Paul are all around the team. Roach would be great if we had 3 other genuine wicket taking bowlers, and his job was to be the stock bowler.
I agree he's done very well to come back from injury, and I'm sure he's putting in the long yards in the nets. But at international level, the batsman don't seem to fear him anymore and hence his wicket taking prowess has gone down.

Gabriel & Holder are in the team.
Thomas, Joseph, Paul etc. currently do not offer a better option than Roach.

You do know dat Roach has more 5 fors in ODI dan any of de bowlers you mentioned? As a matter of fact he has as many as Bravo and any of de other 2. 3 from 77 games
