New court filings show Donald Trump was at the center of a massive fraud against the American people, the incoming chair of the House judiciary committee said on Sunday.
Jerrold Nadler, a New York Democrat set to take over the panel in January, said Trump would have committed impeachable offenses if it is proven that he ordered his lawyer to make illegal payments to women to keep quiet about alleged sexual encounters.
What these indictments and filings show is that the president was at the center of a massive fraud several massive frauds against the American people, Nadler said on CNNs State of the Union.
Another top Democrat, the California representative Adam Schiff, said Trump could face the very real prospect of jail time.

If payment is to keep the women quiet so that they do not affect the success of the campaign, then payment is a campaign donation. Campaign donations are regulated. The candidate must report them. In that sense they cannot be private.

I think Trump and Giuliani's strategy is to tell as many lies as possible about so many different things and then confess to an alternative fact, with the hope that the truth, lies and alternative facts are not discernible from each other.
Trump has lied so much throughout his life, in all aspects of his life, that I don't think he knows the difference or any better.

Look dude, those guys want to be reelected too, they will not support a criminal if it will hurt their chances.
I've said it before, Repubs will vote to impeach him if it's clear he committed serious crimes.
