Yuh hitting the big 2019 big boy!

When yuh coming back?

In reply to DirtyDan

Jesus was not born on December 25th.

Jesus never celebrated birthdays.

Both birthdays in the Bible were celebrated by pagans and had dire results!

Look around and see how many people who don't believe in the Bible, much less Jesus, but are celebrating Christmas, then consider this verse :

For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what sharing does light have with darkness?

UnGodly people are not attracted to Godly things!

“‘Therefore, get out from among them, and separate yourselves,’ says Jehovah, ‘and quit touching the unclean thing’”; “‘and I will take you in.’”

In reply to DirtyDan

Since he gwan? If he never celebrated it then how can you say that?

The Celebration of Christmas itself is the issue...it did not originate with Christ or Christians.

Which is why people who hate God have no issue with it...

You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. That one was a murderer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of the lie.

Everything about this Holiday is a lie!

Go read the temptations that Satan used with Jesus...Mathew 4:1-11.

See if you can perceive why your above statement is fallacy.

Satan tricks people into beleiving that what they do is approved by God...

A student of the Bible and spreading misinformation?

By the way, when Jesus was born and wise men came bearing gifts wasn't that a celebration of his birth (day)?
Nowhere does it say thou shalt not celebrate birthdays.

But this, he is correct when he says:

1.Jesus was not born in December.
2. December 25th was the biggest pagan festival for centuries in Europe before the era of Jesus Christ.

SnoopDog 2018-12-25 12:38:44

In reply to Mulla bin Emir

December 23-25 was the celebration of the winter solstice in the Northern hemisphere regions yuh big dummy.

Christianity (itself a pagan religion) usurped that festival along with all the Yule festivals and symbols and traditions in order to convert people in those regions.

Curtis 2018-12-25 13:16:57

Alyuh prejudiced against Pagans.

Not cool.

I know several Pagans who are quite nice.

Apparently Christians don't like Pagans.

Misinformation? Is a birthday and birthdate the same?

There is a difference in honoring a family for the birth of a child and celebrating a bbirthday perpetually!

Secondly, Jesus did not receive any gifts on his birthday or birthdate...

Thirdly, it was customary to give gifts to a born ruler...

Fourth, there was no exchanging of gofts at Jesus' birth.

Fifth, Jesus never celebrated a single birthday nor was it a jewish custom.

Sixth, The Bible is clear about adopting Pagan celebrations and attempting to assimalate them into true Worship.

Ayenmol 2018-12-25 15:03:22

INFORMED people realize that December 25 is not the day Jesus Christ was born. The New Catholic Encyclopedia acknowledges: “The date of Christ’s birth is not known. The Gospels indicate neither the day nor the month.”

Further, it is well documented that Christmas and its customs were adopted from non-Christian sources. U.S. Catholic, in fact, said: “It is impossible to separate Christmas from its pagan origins.”

Origins of Christmas and it's traditions.

Now the third day was Pharaoh’s birthday, and he made a feast for all his servants, and he brought out both the chief cupbearer and the chief baker in the presence of his servants. 21 And he returned the chief cupbearer to his post of cupbearer, and he continued to hand the cup to Pharaoh. 22 But he hanged the chief baker, just as Joseph had interpreted to them.

But a convenient day arrived when Herod spread an evening meal on his birthday for his high officials and the military commanders and the most prominent men of Galilee. 22 And the daughter of He·rodi·as came in and danced and pleased Herod and those dining with him. The king said to the girl: “Ask me for whatever you want, and I will give it to you.” 23 Yes, he swore to her: “Whatever you ask me for, I will give it to you, up to half my kingdom.” 24 So she went out and said to her mother: “What should I ask for?” She said: “The head of John the Baptizer.” 25 She immediately rushed in to the king and made her request, saying: “I want you to give me right away on a platter the head of John the Baptist.” 26 Although this deeply grieved him, the king did not want to disregard her request, because of his oaths and his guests. 27 So the king immediately sent a bodyguard and commanded him to bring John’s head. So he went off and beheaded him in the prison 28 and brought his head on a platter. He gave it to the girl, and the girl gave it to her mother. 29 When his disciples heard of it, they came and took his body and laid it in a tomb.

Why is it that the Bible records 2 Rulers celebrating their birthdays but never Jesus, or any servant of God for that matter?

Confession is cathartic.
Just clean up thoroughly. I've found Dawn Soap gets the grime off well. All though, cleaning your soul may require something more stringent.

Satan tricks people into beleiving that what they do is approved by God...

Hallelujah
We are here to celebrate your rejection of Christmas as EVERYONE knows only the devil will DENY Santa is real.

Jesus never celebrated birthdays.

Yes, tell them...Preach the truth: Jesus has no birthday (#fictional). Santa is real. Satan is bad.

Hallelujah.

Ayenmol 2018-12-25 20:03:48

But after they kept on opposing him and speaking abusively, he shook out his garments and said to them: “Let your blood be on your own heads. I am clean. From now on I will go to people of the nations.”

That is all.

Are ppl aware the three wise men came to Jesus two years later when he was a toddler? Even the Nativity scene with the three wise men visiting Mary and the baby Jesus in a manger is a farce....when they came the child was in a house and no longer a newborn baby.

analyst-kid 2018-12-25 21:38:08

Christmas is a farce. Peace and goodwill for one day. Shopping and cleaning to an extreme for one day. But sickness still there. Killing, shooting and robbing still there. Hatred and racism still there. Even the day itself is a farce not truly representing the birth of Christ and who really cares about the birthday of Christ? Mark and John certainly didn't ...because they didn't even mention the birth....and Matthew and Luke didn't even stipulate the date.Birthdays were not celebrated by Christians anyway.

It is his sacrifice and death on that torture stake that frees us from death forever so we can live again to see days and days and days greater than any Christmas Day. No deaths no sickness, no wars, no diseases..no hatred..no racism...truly peace and goodwill for all men.....
Christmas really brings memories of times and people who have passed and at the most the present gathering of togetherness in some families

.that is why I think the greatest Christmas song is Stevie Wonder's SOME DAY AT CHRISTMAS because it speaks of that day when we can erase the memories and enjoy togetherness again in that day and days to come....Imagine something greater than Christmas Day for years and years to come
