We don’t value we own! What a shame?

Larr Pullo 2018-12-27 09:44:25

BTW with Olivier they certainly don't miss Morkel. He gives then that height bounce and pace option.

Ridge 2018-12-27 09:48:37

South Africa producing good fast bowlers ever so often.

Khaga 2018-12-29 12:47:59

Fugly man Otis couldn't even couch himself into become a half decent international bowler.

Rabada was a very good bowler before Fugly Otis and he'll be a very good bowler long after Fugly Otis is gone.

Was he hired by England and SA, base on his playing or his coaching career?
Can you name another West Indian coach, that any of the top four International teams hired?

SnoopDog 2018-12-29 21:00:27

In reply to openning

What does fugly Otis have to with Rabada being a very good bowler? Nothing.

He was world class before fugly Otis and he will continue to be world class long after Opiss is gone.

It is obvious you think learning stop at a certain period in one's life.

Devin 2018-12-29 21:52:06

Virat played him beautifully in South Africa earlier this year.

Khaga 2018-12-29 21:56:31

In reply to Devin

Rabada u\is great only when Virat is scoring against him..otherwise he is a petulant brat ,who is being touted by Burnham skunt Larr just to turn the spotlight away from India's magnificent show down under..screw Larr,Emir and other so called test cricket fans who are hiding in a cave..bunch of wankers.. I left out a name..but you can figure out..

Khaga 2018-12-29 21:59:37

In reply to Devin

What's the big deal about 50 wickets? Is it even a calendar year record?

All I know is,there is suspension lurking over his petulant, unruly and angry head..

Devin 2018-12-29 22:07:14

In reply to Khaga

big grin big grin : big grin

He's a prickly character, but he's a treat to watch. Lovely action. I remember when he hit Kohli in his ribs during the ODI series, the very next delivery Kohli pulled him for 6. One of the highlights of the series.

Right now,Bumrah is the best fast bowler in the world..these SA pussies hide from away matches,formats..

LBW375 2018-12-30 08:26:20

50 in a calendar year ?? Seriously ??

DirtyDan 2018-12-30 08:49:03

In reply to LBW375

Rabada underperformed this year compared to his 2017 stats, where he had 57 wickets in that calendar year.

Not as big a deal as I first thought once I saw historic bests stats Warne/Murli/Lillee/Donald/Garner numbers ranging from 96 to 77 respectively in a calendar year

Rabada is a good bowler though

Larr Pullo 2018-12-30 11:01:58

In reply to Khaga

Dipshit, Bumrah doesn't have the body of work behind him yet to be considered the best bowler in the world. Great that Kohli thinks so, Bumrah just helped him to win a test and retain the SG trophy, he should be bigging him up. However, the best fast bowler in the world right now is Kagiso Rabada, and I think the rankings bear that out.

Larr Pullo 2018-12-30 11:02:51

In reply to DirtyDan

How many tests did they play in those calendar years?

runout 2018-12-30 11:09:20

Bumrah. 48 wickets in 9 matches, 18 innings

Rabada 52 in 10 matches, 20 innings

Just appreciate that there is a whole lot of talented folks playing the game right now.

Go easy, Khaga!

That's teammate to teammate, captain to charge, countryman to countryman.

We need to have some independent validation. wink

runout 2018-12-30 12:01:15

Virat knows that Bummie handed him the series lead. So he is ultra appreciative.

Agarwal is the quiet hero. Opening against a potent fast bowling attack, and an unpredictable wicket. True find of the tour.

Now it will be interesting when Shaw makes his way into the Indian team

Bowlers beware.

JahJah 2018-12-30 12:01:42

Smith not even active and is number 3. What a batsman eh.

Imagine somebody is starting to bring post about Saffies and Pakistan,we know for sure the followers of cricket would be more interested in India and OZ,but not Lapullo, his interest is Rabada.I don't think he could bear to see India beat Oz and the fact Oz was wrecked by a young Indian fast bowler,it's a sad life for that old skunt.

lol lol lol

Seriously though, it's good to see Bumrah giving legitimacy to India's fast bowling prowess.

It wasn't so long ago all India had to show was Sreesanth, the cry baby one. Remember he?
