we dont need no two frontline spinners at Kensington...four prong pace at the Guyanese with Warrican, Chase and Brathwaite doing the spin honours.

like this lineup. Must get Springer in the lineup. Waste of talent sitting on the sidelines.

Chemar Holder is a good prospect. I dont want him sitting down at Kensington for no allrounders, spinners or even Big Jase.

Must get Springer in the lineup. Waste of talent sitting on the sidelines.

Most international teams, are getting their U19 top players ready for International cricket, India has two U 19youngsters ,
Rishabh Pant is in Australia and Prithvi Shaw played against the West Indies.
Springer was one of the top performers coming out of the World Cup, and should had been elevated to all team selected.
Guyana, Jamaica and the Leewards got it right, with selecting performers from the championship team.
The BCA has the top performer sitting.

Would be good to see a CCC or Windies 'B' side in the Regional FC Competition.

With the Professional Contracts System, CWI should encourage each of the Regional sides to offer a couple of contracts to U23's.

I heard last night India has 37 first class teams, Australia has six teams.
We call it professional because players are now paid, but what professional about it?
Players were drafted in May, how many teams had preseason camps that you know about?
The BCA has been offering contracts to a number of players for over 5 years. I don't know if the contracted players, have coaches for each discipline.
BCA gives 12 Development contracts including three to national Under-19s

Stupidity is having the draft 6 months or so before the season starts.

It's good to see Regional boards handing out retainers, but not much point if training & coaching facilities/programs aren't in place.

As for the 'Professional' contracts that are given out each year, considering the performances, it needs looked at.
