Bumrah sometimes flexes his wrists, and probably his arm, but he has not been called.

Why wouldn't an umpire call him if there was evidence, such as video replays? Umpires are known to review video footage overnight for such things.

Wasn't that the case recently when that Pakistan bowler (Devon's nemesis) was deemed to have an illegal action, based on the overnight review of video footage?

If you want to call pelting flexing.

India runs everything in world cricket, remember we couldn't have reviews until they were ok with it.

Officials are just chicken shit to call this pelted for fear of the Indian backlash.

What would India do? Boycott Test cricket? If not, then what Indian backlash do the umpires fear?

Why didn't the umpires call West Indies fast bowlers? Croft ran into umpires much later..

Going up against India could cost you your career umpiring games against India.

We are not talking about Croft.

Going up against India

Isn't that a problem, to begin with? Umpires are not supposed to be "going up" against any particular team.

Daryl Hair was accused of going after Murali and got no support from the ICC. The Lankans did not want him to umpire their matches after that, and the ICC agreed. Hair retired out of frustration with the ICC.

So, yes. Teams could request that specific umpires not umpire their matches, but how is this different in India's case?

We are talking about umpires and balls..

Please don't try to twist what I said. It's very simple and not that hard to understand.
What you just said proved my point. Umps who call players from super power teams like India can find themselvesin the wilderness of cricket. Hence, for fear of being ostracized they won't call some players.

I asked how is India different from other countries when it comes to requesting that specific umpires not umpire their matches. You call that "twisting what I said". That's quite a defense - that!

So, in your opinion, Indian cricketers could cheat to their heart's content because umpires have a mortal fear of India. Did I twist anything there? Maybe, this applies to Bumrah only?

They will have to call Steyn too......

And Starc, and many, many others.

The bottom line is, we have to trust the integrity of the umpires, or complain right there on the spot, as Carlos B did recently in Bangladesh.

Since when flexing wrist is pelting? Probably his arm as his elbow? So you not sure bout that? Come on Norm you can do better than this. Mind you I have not studied his action.

So you not sure bout that?

I am absolutely sure that his bowling action has not been been deemed illegal by those with the right to do so.
