Use your smarts Larr.

CWI is using Pybus rather than the other way around.

Cause de man almost destroyed we cricket when he was Director. Now they made him Men's head coach?
He seems like the kind of 'force makes water go up hill, beat a dead dog, kinda person.

Under the current set up CWI still need favours along the way from the power brokers who matter. The close knit club.

Right at this juncture Pybus is the man viewed from that angle so CWI is killing two birds with one stone.

Yes there are Directors, President and VP all with a little say within the region, nothing outside at all. Ignored outside the region like little boys.

So you think Prybus is big in the 'all boys club'? Big enough to cause a few things to Go WIndies way?
Cause me no so sure. But I guess you know.

The Windies still haven’t found their man. Apparently the regional side will be going into the home series against England, and probably this summer’s World Cup, without a full-time head coach as the board “looks to do a thorough search” for Stuart Law’s replacement.

A source close to the situation confirmed the news after tipping former director of cricket turned consultant Richard Pybus to be named interim coach for the England series.

“Normally the process takes about three months, so they’re likely going to ask the man taking over on an interim basis to hold on for England and the World Cup before they appoint a permanent coach to a two-year, three-year contract sometime next year,” said the inside source.

Spot on. Pybus was the one who called off the India tour after lobbying behind the scenes to get the BCCI to threaten to cancel the IPL contracts of WI players if they pulled out. When the BCCI told Tricky Dick to get lost the only other option was to call off the tour because an actual meeting between Dave and the players was out of the question for some reason.

That guy and his sidekick Dave cannot be trusted. I was told by a reliable source that Pybus left CWI a few years ago because CWI was taking too long to implement some changes he wanted to make and he got fed up. I guess CWI is now ready to let him kill off our cricket ...
